• Tell Your Friends

Attention Design Happens readers: the holidays are officially here! Many of you have probably been celebrating or decorating for weeks, but I’m a one-holiday-at-a-time kind of gal. So, with Thanksgiving behind us, it’s time to turn all of our focus on the busiest season of the year. When I think of the Christmas season, I immediately think of shiny metallics and lots of glitter. Doesn’t everything seem to have a dust of glitter during the holidays? That’s just one reason I love this time of year so much.

I’m on board the metallics train, as you can see. So, tell me — what are your favorite holiday hues?

Many, many years ago when I was in high school (graduated in 1957 – told you many years ago) I made money at Christmas time by spray painting branches and leaves with silver paint and creating arrangements.. The first year I created an arrangement as a present for my mother. Neighbors and friends loved it and asked me to make arrangements for them. The business grew each year. I did well but the only problem was that the owner of the apartment complex where we lived was not happy about the landscaping being chopped up. To my knowledge he never knew who did it but hope he did not blame the gardener.

  6. A formidable share, I just given this onto a colleague who was doing a bit of analysis on this. And he the truth is bought me breakfast because I discovered it for him.. smile. So let me reword that: Thnx for the treat! But yeah Thnkx for spending the time to debate this, I feel strongly about it and enjoy reading more on this subject. If doable, as you turn into expertise, would you thoughts updating your weblog with a lot more details? It
