We’re counting down to Christmas with a new holiday party tip, decorating idea or DIY project every day until December 25. Miss a day? See all the posts here.
Christmas trees are all about tradition for me: I love picking the perfect live tree, turning up the Christmas music and dressing the tree with ornaments full of history, like the painted glass globes my great-grandma brought from Germany. But since I spend lots of time looking at holiday decor, I like to mix it up, too. This year, I’m setting up two trees: One in bold, silver tinsel and one in traditional green.
Still deciding on your tree’s theme? Whether you go all out with an over-the-top themed tree or like to keep it traditional, we’ve got tons of ideas to help you choose.
If you’re considering the two-tree route, this adorable snowman is a great way to bring holiday cheer into multiple rooms without investing in a whole new set of ornaments.
Do you change your tree every year or keep it traditional?
