That’s right, we’re letting you choose the Color of the Month from our top three picks: Hot Pink, Glitter and Icy Purple.

Design Happens Color of the Month December

Read on to watch all three video pitches. Then cast your vote…we’ll announce the winning hue on Friday, December 7!

Option 1: Hot Pink
Our Pinterest guru Sarah (and meeting crasher/pink expert/HGTV graphic designer Hannah) pitched super-saturated Hot Pink. Their reasoning: this color easily injects modern flair into your Christmas decorations. Plus, who doesn’t love peppermint?

Option 2: Glitter
Yes, Glitter! There was much debate over whether this really qualified as a color, but envelope-pusher and resident crafty lady Marianne eventually won our votes with her talk of holiday parties, ornament making and glitter nail polish.

Option 3: Icy Purple
It makes total sense that Christmas decoration fanatic Grant pitched Icy Purple for December, since his Pinterest board is filled with stunning purple light displays. Sure, he might not have pitched it first, but the color just feels right for holiday-time.

So which color gets your vote? You have until Friday, December 7 at noon to make a choice in the poll below. We’ll announce the winning hue on Friday afternoon.

HELP! didn't know where else to post this–I am looking for something that was shown on Shop This Room, with Danielle Colding. In one of her first episodes, she was shopping in Long Island Sound, and in one store she picked up a chunk of blue glass the owner said was found at an old glass canning factory. Where can I find this?? I have been searching but can't find anything like it. help!
