I know we’ve been talking a lot lately about trying something new this holiday season. You know, trading out that tired red and green for something a little more modern and unexpected like violet, hot pink or white. Well, as much as I love these new, fresh Christmas combos taking over the stores (hey, I have a purple tree myself!), I’m still partial to the classic red and green that feels tied to the holiday. I know as soon as I see those two colors together that I can start finding candy canes, gingerbread houses and holiday tunes in the background of every place I go. Sigh…don’t you just love the holidays?

Call me old fashioned, I'm a red and green gal all the way.
Those small evergreen trees make me so happy.
Me too, Stacy! Those are great gift ideas. (I'll take one!)
They're just so classic! I love the modern hues, but there's something nostalgic and warm about the traditional holiday colors.
I live near the beach and in Florida so I'm doing white, silver and my favorite color, turquoise. It's very pretty and beachy
That sounds beautiful! I've seen some gorgeous coastal holiday themes this year.
