Love, love, love these pillows! They would put the finishing touch on our newly beach-themed house!!

  3. Margi says:

My accent color in my house is indigo so in each room though I like cream, silver, and gold, I decorate each room a little differently. My style is casual chic.

    Love the beach christmas .

  5. Sue says:

Using my traditional decorations this year but I am loving this nautical look. A good chance I will be looking for some seaside Christas finds at the after sales .

  6. Theresa says:

Living in a coastal community I have always decorated with a coastal theme! Happy Huladays=)

  7. Barbara says:

We moved from rural PA to Long Island. Now we are living near the water. I would love to have this prize to go along with our new life here on the island!

I decorated 1 month in advance and keeping everything up 1 month after christmas and throwing a "1 mo post-Christmas Christmas party" to keep the season going!

  9. Jen says:

Natural materials and nature-inspired ornaments, i.e. birds, pine cones, snowflakes, etc.

  10. Laura says:

Traditional with touches of seashells, starfish and sealife ornamsents.

My husband recently had a bone marrow transplant (due to a rare & aggressive cancer) & is still very week. He cannot drag out the huge tree we have. I bought 2 smaller alpine trees on Craigslist (I already owned one). My 3 daughters are going to have a tree decorating contest, each of them decorating the small trees with ornaments from our "big" tree. We will tuck them in corners or group them all together, not sure yet. This will take away a lot of the work from Dad & I & give the girls a fun day!! The pillows would be great "prizes"!!! ;)

  12. L Blacker says:

Use my old radio flier sled. Hung my daughter's first ice skates on it with a burgundy bow. Planted a mini evergreen in a pedestal flower pot. White lights on the tree. Grouped sled and tree together on front porch. Big wreath on front door. Spot light to illuminate.

Wow after reading other posts, everybody deserves to win. Christmas for us this year is less complicated. I've had to scale back on some decorating because of surgery on my jaw 8 weeks ago. Of course the tree goes up and my four kids decorate it with their ornaments they have collected. As part of our family tradition, each child receives a new ornament of their choice each year. As they grow up they will have their ornaments to take with them. Naturally, I place the large nativity on the entry table for all those to see when they are welcomed into our home. The other decorations are placed in themes. Family room is white and blue with snowmen and snowflakes. The dining room contains small trees and the family room is santa with tradional colors. Believe it or not, there is way more to be done, however, time is limited and so is my energy. The pillows are beautiful and I bet next year I could find a way to utilize them. I do wish everybody good luck and Merry Christmas!

I like the cozy Christmas Cottage look this year. We have a 20 month old grandaughter so we want her senses to soak up warmth and cheer and cuddliness….is that a word???

  15. Doreen Lawrence says:

Red and green are out since a lot of my colors are mauve. Silver and gold are the way to go. These pillows are a great color theme.

  16. Virginia says:

Well, we don't even have a tree this year. Money is tight and I'd rather buy clothes and a few toys for our church's mission trip to Mexico at the end of the year for a little girl. But we did put up our other decorations which are just some sentimental things I've gotten over the years. Instead of a tree, I've hung a few ornaments off the bakers rack. Our daughter won't be home until after Christmas for New Year's but she lives in L.A. and she's love these pillows for her 1st Christmas in her apartment!

  17. Laurie Blackwell says:

Blues and creams with a bit of sparkle. I was fortunate enough to spend Christmas in Anguilla a few years ago and just can't forget the feeling of the beach at Christmas, so my decorating scheme this year follows that feeling.

  18. Nicole says:

Christmas this year is going to be huge since the entire family is coming to my house! ^^ We are decorating our house with shades coming from silver, light blues, and many decor with sparkles! Our tree is blue with different shades of blue for the ordainments. We have colorful stockings, and a couple of Santa's little helpers around the house! My house is definitely setting the mood of Christmas this year!

  19. Amy says:

I have a beach theme in my house and these would go great!

  20. Kathleen says:

I've started making my own ornaments this year, so it is a very personalized Christmas!

  21. Donna Ingalls says:

Since we live in the south we are going with a beautiful beach theme this year. I made some small trees with shells that I found on Pinterest. We also used a lot of natural items to decorate.

  22. Arlene O'Malley says:

I love the coastal look! I use blue and white where ever I can. Added some glitter with putz house in pale colors to give some sparkle.

  23. Joan says:

I love the beach theme! We are in Florida and I have already added shells and starfish to my mantel theme.

  24. Amanda says:

Just got back from the beach and these would really cheer me up! We did lots of glitter this year. Gold , green , red and silver. I have little ones who love things that sparkle.

  25. Joy Lukhard says:

Our decor is mostly traditional. I like things that remind me of when I was a child. On our tree are owls, polar bears, cardinals, sea shells and a few small red frames with old pictures inside.

  26. Sherye says:

This year entails taking walks in the Piney Woods of East Texas for
branches with berries of all color. Deep purples, blacks, blues & of course red. I am filling lots of vases around the house with candles. Very romantic.

  27. Deborah Hughes says:

    Their gorgeous

  28. Ryanjjat says:

Lots of shells and branches. Love the coastal look at Christmas.

  29. Denise Toth says:

Traditional. Fresh tree with color lights. Fresh greens, garlands, bows, white lights on the wreath on the door. Candles in the windows. Candles with holiday scents and fresh baked cookies. Stockings hung on the chimney with love, including one for the two cats. Angel babies in snow with lights and Christmas scene on the mantel with lights. And a singing Santa Claus. Ho Ho Ho

  30. FuninthesunZoeE says:

Two different themes: Hot and Spicy theme- our Xmas tree in the den/kitchen is decorated in Santas that are dressed in chef outfits, Texas Pete bottles, and cooking utensils. (my hubby is a chef and we have fun with this theme) Then in the living room, to try to show our more civilized side, we go with a nature theme – Xmas tree with all types of animals on it, that are silver, white, or beige. This theme is mimicked throughout the whole room with beige reindeers on the mantel, an old carousel horse with a wreath on it's neck, etc, etc (very classy;)

  31. Becca Z says:

Herniated discs so I put a wreath on front door, holiday welcome mat…not having company, travelling to family so I can get away with it.

  32. Jeanmarie says:

Lots of snowmen and bright, reds and greens – have a whimsical palm tree with ornaments bought during our beach vacations — would love to move the palm to the bonus room and use all these great decorations as a theme for the kids

  33. Leah Harper says:

Since I love everything coastal I decided to do a complete turnaround from my usual red and green Christmas decorations. This year I went with a turquoise, white, and silver color scheme on the tree, mantel, and in the entryway.

  34. Eleanor says:

Holidays have been hard for my middle daughter and I. Out of a family of 5 we are the only ones left.. We are trying to start a new tradition and decorate different then we ever have. Just 2 adult women ( Mother and Daughter)..trying for more sophisicated decor. Fresh and New..

  35. Mel says:

These pieces would go perfectly in my home!

  36. Cherei says:

Decorations and a tree are the ONLY way.. we can achieve the "Christmassy" feel in the deep southern part of Texas! It's hard to get into the spirit while wearing shorts and running a/c! So, Santa will have a change of pace with a glass of Texas iced Chai tea and pecan cookies! Naturally.. we will decorate using a Texas/Christmas feel! Add some astronaut and special ornaments .. and tons of outdoor lights.. (that most of us leave up all year) San Antonio.. we all have our own version of the Riverwalk in our backyards!

  37. jane anzaldi says:

i am a traditionalist so it will be red, white, and green with lots of silver too

  38. Nanette Allison says:

We just moved to the country and our house is Hill Country with a rustic elegence lodge feel. I tend to be a "Theme" person and my "grandkid room" is a Cottage Theme. The pillows would of course blend with that theme however, if I won them, I would give them to my best friend. She and her husband built a new home (Cottage Type House) this year after having lived and raised their kids in the same house for 40 yrs. They had not even moved the furniture in and the city sewer system backed up into their home ruining their hardwood floors and carpet. To top that, the city is fighting them on paying. I will be nice and not say what city:)

  39. Liz says:

Since we moved on the water in Florida, I have been slowly converting my Christmas decor from traditional to coastal. Colors are primarily white, cream and gold. This year I finally replaced our tree top from a gold angel to a beautiful starfish. My next addition will be new shell decor stockings and maybe some beautiful coastal pillows for our beach themed guest room!!

  40. YSaxon says:

Using cuttings from the local Christmas tree seller and cut limbs from my holly tree, I'm creating my first ever natural wreath for the front door. For the 81 foot fence by the lake I'm using artificial garland, white lights, and crimson bows. Inside? Easy. Glass bowls and hurricane glass full of glitzy ornaments to go with the colored lights on the tree and mantle.

  41. erin_hanlon says:

This is my first Christmas in my new home, so I'm going all out. I'm using the colors I already use in my normal decorating- turquoise and teal and ivory. I'm also getting a couple of rosemary trees for inside and some traditional evergreens for the front step.

  42. Celeste_in_Cali says:

We will be in our new house next Christmas. It's by the sea! I expect to be decorating in the softer hues for the holidays in my great room which opens up to our enclosed pool. It will be quite a switch from Christmas past in California. These accent items would look lovely and make a great addition to our home.

  43. dotsrubyreds says:

LOVE it! Living in Ohio now I miss coastal Virginia and this would be a nice reminder. Light some candles with beach-y smells and it's perfect!

  44. Jan Foster says:

Traditional Christmas tree with all the ornaments that hold tons of memories! It's beautiful … Lots of pictures, tea lights, scented pine cones, wreaths, and garland inside and out. We're ready to go!

  45. Ron Miller says:

Normal, traditional stuff, tree and house lighting

  46. diana smith hill says:

My whole place is ocean motif and these will adorn it perfectly

  47. Roger says:

    Beautiful lights inside and out

  48. Cheryl Edney says:

Decorating with a traditional Christmas tree with family heirloom ornaments that have been collected over the years, colored lights, but most of all decorating with celebrating with family and friends.

  49. Krista says:

Would look great in my mom's house down the Jersey shore~Thankfully her house was not damaged from Hurricane Sandy

  50. Patti Pulliam says:

I am doing traditional but I have a friend that loves anything to do with the beach that I would love to be able to give this for a Christmas gift to her. They are absolutely beautiful.
