It’s all about attention to details when it comes to the holidays, especially when wrapping gifts for family and friends. Traditional wrapping paper is never a disappointment, but why not take it up a notch and really impress everyone on your list?
Neutral Gift Wrap by WhipperBerry
If you like the clean lines of neutral gift wrap, use wax paper to make a bow instead of colorful paper. The bow resembles a snowball, and you can finish it off with ribbon for a look that will stand out under the tree. For a rustic approach, use basic brown wrapping paper, and glue a cotton yarn pom pom to a small stick. Attach the sticks to your gift with twine.
Colorful Yarn Gift Wrap by More Last-Minute Knitted Gifts
If you’d prefer bold color, wrap multiple strands of colorful yarn around brown wrapping paper.

Once you’re done wrapping your gifts, put the scraps to good use by making a wreath. Try this three-dimensional wreath, or work on a smaller scale by making tiny paper wreaths as gift box embellishments.

Fabulous post, and incredibly gorgeous photos.
I've always used the plain brown paper to wrap Christmas gifts with. Then it's fun to be creative with ribbon and decorating the package and they are always a standout and I get lots of compliments on them.
I really like the wax paper bows. The how-to looks very easy.
