I have vaulted ceilings and don't much use the high walls for wall decor. In fact, I don't have confidence in decorating at all! Need to get some help.

I resolve that 2013 will be the year that I conquer clutter. I can only pray that I will be more successful this year than in past years. Any help [besides the tips and shows and articles that I peruse constantly] will be greatly appreciated.
2013 goal for my home is to rediscover the basement family room. A fresh coat of paint and new flooring will work to bring a dingy room back to life. A new media console updated for the flat screen and lots of room for family gatherings. I will continue to look for ways to make this a family friendly room for teens and their friends.

My home goal for 2013 is to repurpose versus buying new. There are so many avenues to obtain ideas it shouldn't be a problem.
Declutter, declutter!! That is my motto for 2013. When a room is not cluttered, it helps you to breath better, be more relaxed, and you also think clearly and more creatively.

My 2013 goal is to rethink function in my home and add an art studio, if I can't add on. I also want to add the beautiful coastal colors in the new HGTV 2013 dream home. Our house is mostly white, which I love, but blues and greens would be a nice change. I also want to add an alcohol fueled fireplace and a new sectional to our family room. I want to freshen up the bedrooms with new bedding and I want new window treatments. Maybe add silk-like drapes. I also need new pillows. Love , love pillows(wish I could sew). My back pool area needs some expert help. And I would like to get very organized with new and better storage. I need to repace my dishwasher and several facets. I also want new glass tile in the kitchen and the master bath. Aside from that I need to improve our landscaping with better plants for this coastal area. Wow, I am tired and I need to win the lottery because teachers like me don't make much money. I think I better narrow it down to one room a year. I guess that will have to be the family room. Wish me luck, better yet I think some prayers would be better.:)

My husband and I have changed our eating habits. I have lost 62lbs and my husband has lost 32lbs. I want to lose 30lbs more and he wants to lose 20lbs more. The storage chest would be wonderful for the linens for guests.

After two years we told them we had to move back in and were shocked at the condition our beloved house was left in. In 2013 our goal is to make our house pretty again.
