      Me too Carol! My husband and I plan on on remodeling our lower level bathroom in 2013. We want to create a large multi purpose space that includes a laundry area. Finding examples of this type of remodel has been a challenge.

      My goal is also to get organized….but more than any other goal, I want people to feel at home and comfortable from the moment they walk in the door. I want to become a memorable hostess to all who enter.

    My 2013 goals or resolutions for my home is to update it to be more low maintenance and energy efficient. Carpeting out, tile and wood in. New roof. Solar for the pool. All light bulbs in the house changed to energy efficient. The grass between the street and sidewalk replaced with asiatic jasmine ground cover. The list has just started and is growing.

    reduce the amount of *stuff*, *a place for everything and everything in its place*, SIMPLIFY … this has been an on-going goal for several years. Difficult to achieve with two young children, a full time job, and a politically involved husband!

    My goal for 2013 is to finish the projects that we never got to after building our home. Moved in in 2005, dad got sick in 2006, son had cancer in 2007. Finally time to get this house in order!
