Are you sweet on someone? Feel like you’ve been shot by cupid’s arrow? Valentine’s Day puns aside, this hot chocolate, complete with an arrow-embellished straw and heart-shaped marshmallows, is a great way to show your Valentine that you care.
I layered strips of solid-colored paper tape on striped paper straws, then used scissors to create the straw’s arrow “fringe.”

Using jumbo marshmallows and a 1-inch, heart-shaped cookie cutter, you can customize your hot chocolate in just a few minutes.
To serve, mix up your favorite hot chocolate recipe, or make our recipe for spiced hot chocolate mix. Then, thread the arrow straw through the heart-shaped cutout for a sweet treat that your sweety will love. Add extra hearts for marshmallow lovers!
Declaring your adoration from afar? Layer the marshmallow cutouts on parchment paper and tuck into a festive bag with a few arrow straws and a jar of hot chocolate mix for on-demand deliciousness.
