I’ve long been a fan of people adorning themselves with spoon rings and bracelets, but you can adorn your home with old spoons as well. Take a look at these inventive spoon arts & crafts and get inspired to raid the silverware drawer for supplies.

spoon art craft project

Almost anything can be art in the right context, as this vignette from Red Barn Candle Company proves. Go on and frame an old spoon! Burlap adds a rustic, antique feel.

spoon napkin ring craft

Add another spoon to your place setting in the form of a napkin ring. These spoons were bent around the handle of a dumbbell (really!) for consistency. Head to Hammers and High Heels for more pics.

spoon door pull craft

Make your cabinets sparkle with some silverware embellishments. These fork & spoon door pulls from Country Living are perfect accents for the kitchen.

spoon garden markers craft

It’s no secret that we love silver spoon garden markers around here. Learn how to make your own on Intimate Weddings. (How cute would these be as wedding favors?!)

spoon coat hook craft

Like the stamped look of the spoons above but have a black thumb? Turn those stamped spoons into a personalized coat rack instead, like this gorgeous example above from Etsy seller jjevensen. Get the DIY deets from Instructables or Style Marmalade.

I love HGTV and I watch everyday and I am starting to not go on all the time because everytime I watch I see the worst show you have had "Love it or Leave it" that is by far the worst show on HGTV history. I'm sorry I don't mean to sound so mean but it is the truth many of my friends say the same. I do however see all the other shows although some are repeats but we like them it is just that other show that really drive us nuts.

The reason I don't like love it or list has nothing to do with the show, (I actually the antagonistic relationship)….but rather the effects from a contest they had. I had signed up for the last of the weeks 50k shows on December 28th, 2012….and also signed my daughter up…(whom has a very questionable character ). She agreed to split the 50k with me if she got selected but ran off with the money instead….:(…Since then my family has disowned her….But I will still be a an HGTV watcher and put in for the Dream Home like I have done for over a decade now. My family thinks it would be poetic justice if we won…..But I haveto learn to forgive her and move on….

  7. I adore the spoon coat rack! I'm not sure my antique silver flatware service would be the best thing to make it from though lol. I may pop out and buy some cheaper spoons before I get creative lol
