I planted a terrarium in a 15-gallon aquarium. Fifteen years and one cross country move later, it is still going strong. The one tip missing from the instructions is terrarium maintenance — keeping the glass clean is my biggest problem. Oh, and also keeping the philodendron under control so the other plants can survive!
I've always enjoyed terrariums. Love the ones shown.
I'm right there with you! I've been coveting that geometric planter for months, and I'm actually good at keeping succulents alive, so it might be fate, right?
Definitely. I've got some moss my roommate swindled from the mountains just waiting to go into the one of a thousand planters/containers/jars laying around my house. I've become kind of an empty jar hoarder.
