Update: Congratulations to our winner Christy, who says her spring DIY plans include painting the entry room walls and the front door. Come back on April 5 for another great giveaway!
We all have those DIY projects that don’t go quite according to plan: paint colors that looked so much greener on the chip, cut pieces of wood that are a quarter-inch too small for that coffee table, stencils gone awry. If you’ve ever wished you could press the reset button on your weekend task, this month’s giveaway is for you.
Vecco Studio offers a DIY alternative to expensive designer rugs: You choose from 13 colorants, various rug sizes and more than 150 stencils to create your own designs. The best part? If you don’t like the finished product, you can simply vacuum up the designs and start again. Take as many do-overs as you need, then spray on sealant to make your handiwork permanent.

Ready to design your own carpet or rug? We’re giving one lucky winner a $300 gift card to VeccoStudio.com, so you can choose the rug size, color sprays and design options that suit your home and decor.
To enter for a chance to win the $300 Vecco Studio gift card, leave a comment below. This month’s question: What DIY projects are you planning for spring?

What an awesome idea. I could use something in my home to spruce up things. Definitely need a rug under our dining room table. Or could use one in the living room. Or maybe our bedroom. Any room would be a good place. I am artistic and would love to create something special for our home or for my daughter's.
Hanging the new curtain rods in Master bedroom and putting up the tree wall cling I bought to make a Family portrait wall with…Repainted Master/Guest bedrooms but I haven't found a rug to match either yet so this would be great!
That is so cool, would really like to try it. Designing and making window boxes for the lake place looking forward to this challenge. Sue
Just as the saying goes, I'll be "turning over a new leaf" this Spring! Every year, I'm always inspired by what's right outside my front door; whatever the "vibes" that I get this year will help me decide what DIY project to tackle. However, I am looking to remodel the living room for a nice light and fresh feel, because its starting to feel a little stuffy and boring- two things that nobody likes! Whether its revamping living room, spicing up the kitchen a bit, or simply adding a little TLC wherever needed around here, there will definitely be plenty of DIY projects. Spring calls for a change, and that's exactly the gamelan around UBS household!
I need to stain my front porch and back deck.
I would love that rug. It would look so nice in my house. It really needs color.
I plan on getting some cross stitching done and putting it up on the wall and on some projects
I will again try growing vegetables….
What a Fantastic Idea! I just told my husband last week that I need a new rug for my sunroom this spring!!! The timing couldn't be more perfect! I am also adding river rocks to my islands in the front yard and repainting the lamp posts around my pool!
Pallet everything!
This sounds Wonderful! I have a whole house filled with those mistakes, and this would help me start getting on the right track.
I forgot to answer the question: Sorting through our furniture and such and making them go together instead of looking like salvation army style.
Looks like a fun spring project! I'll be painting my terra cotta pots bright spring colors!
We are going to be doing a number of diy projects this spring. My big one is custom framing of our travel photos and a couple of photo collages in our living room.
Very interesting! We are having to redo our flooring due to a recent pipe leak. We are in the design stage right now and this is a wonderful idea!
Well, we just moved to a new house this past August and there's alot I want to do with it. This spring, my husband and I are going to build a farmhouse dining table with a wrap around bench to create a cozy cottage style breakfast nook.
This is awesome. My DIY project is to add wall shelves in my daughters room and also build a bench under her window.
We plan to remodel our master bathroom
Wow! This sounds really creative and would be something I would love to do. We are buying our first home together and moving this spring. MY answer to your question is that we are planning on decorating and furnishing our new home this spring and creating our very own one of a kind rug would be a perfect compliment to our new home!
Projects I have planned for this spring are painting the entry room walls in my living room and possibly painting the entry/front door.
I would love to revamp my master bedroom and bath. The bath has a lot of white, white shower, white huge garden tub, white tile around tub, and only one sink on vanity, it really needs two. This would be a dream come true. Especially with the right rug in the floor with the tile. Wow, can't wait.
my family bought our first home 3 years ago, and I had all these plans for my room. I wanted to add wall decals, a rug, and curtains. but none of that panned out. It's really hard to pick a color and design that would work together.
So far I bought a curtain rod. and it's been leaning against the wall for 3 years. Hopefull this fall I'll find curtains that i would like long term or I would find fabric I can make it out of.
Painting, painting and more painting….fresh new update on walls, along with new window treatments!
already have my pattern planned , can't wait to try this !
This is a great idea. We are hoping to renovate our kitchen this year. We own a duplex and out tenants have to best kitchen. Ours very small and not arranged very well. With the hard wood floors in kitchen these rugs would be amazing. I am sure whoever wins them will love them.
i want to redo my bedroom and living room
I'm making a t-shirt quilt this spring!
Wonderful!! My husband and I are in the process of purchasing a fixer upper for the spring. We hope to take a grim, cave-like color scheme and make it fresh and springlike. And fix the holes, and the bizarre textures, and the too dark colors…
Painting the foyer wall & applying an octopus wall mural. In the master bath, a gray wall with silver jellyfish wall mural.
