For the past three weeks, you’ve been casting your votes for practically every room in the house for Design Happens’ aesthetically-pleasing version of March Madness. From boys’ bedrooms to utility spaces, we were sure to include even the smallest rooms. Final votes have been tallied and we can finally reveal our Best Room of the Year.

Drumroll, please!

Frankly, it’s no surprise that a room from HGTV Green Home won. The indoor/outdoor Georgia room from HGTV Green Home 2012 is the perfect spot to both unwind and gather with friends. Interior designer Linda Woodrum set up the space so you can slide open the shades and let in a room full of sunshine or pull them closed to create a warm and cozy nook.
