I believe home organizers have a seasonal cycle.

At the beginning of the year, online organization tips spike and a couple of months later, it’s spring cleaning season. So it makes sense that now, our audience loves finding new ways to use old things…as in stuff they couldn’t bear to toss.

Whether it’s for an environmental or a sentimental conviction, upcycling is a creative way to justify keeping old stuff.

Sorry…showing us 3 brand new metal trash-cans is not up-cycling…it is Consumerism. And when the trend is out, hopefully the trashcans will be used for the purpose intended. I suspect, however, that they will end up in a land-fill. Up-cycling may be the RE-USE creatively of existing items that people have…to put those items to a better use. I think HGTV missed the boat.

You know a whole lot its almost hard to argue with you (not that I actually will need to…HaHa).
You certainly put a brand new spin on a subject that’s been written about for many years.

    Great stuff, just great!
