• Tell Your Friends

If you read my last post, you know I’ve been daydreaming of an exotic vacation. But — since I won’t be travelling to a gorgeous beach anytime soon, I’m thinking I’ll bring the beach to me. I love coastal decor, and I love budget-friendly decor even more. That’s why I’m going crazy over these driftwood crafts. If you’re lucky enough to be heading to the beach soon, stroll the shores for pretty pieces of driftwood. If not, try your nearest lake for some driftwood and simply pretend your fabulous finds are from a beachy shoreline.

Driftwood Key Hanger
I absolutely adore this colorful driftwood key hanger. Drift on over to Free People’s blog to see how it’s made.

Herringbone Driftwood Table
This beautiful Herringbone Driftwood Table is for the heavy-duty DIYers. Although Sarah’s tutorial includes quite a few steps, the end product is totally worth the work.

DIY Driftwood Mirror
I’ve been seeing star-burst mirrors everywhere, and I love the natural feel the driftwood gives this piece. Check out how Cate from See Cate Create made this beauty.

Driftwood Candle Holder
This DIY from The Poor Sophisticate seems too easy to be true! All you need is a piece of driftwood, a drill and a few candles – and you have a beautiful new centerpiece.

DIY Driftwood Vase
I’m a firm believer in the “you-can-never-have-too-many-vases” idea. I love having a fresh vase of flowers in every room of my home. This DIY Driftwood Vase is the perfect craft if you’ve rounded up several small pieces of driftwood.

What is your favorite driftwood craft?

they would also make cute keychains. I used to picked them up and etched designs on them using soldering machine, attach a keychain thingie at the back and it's a great, rustic looking keychain. <a href="http://www.randomteapots.com” target=”_blank”>www.randomteapots.com
