A favorite day amongst chocoholics, this day celebrates the delicious, creamy delicacy that is chocolate. I hope each and every one of you started your morning off right (with a steaming cup of hot cocoa and a couple of chocolate donuts!). But if you feel it’s too hot for such a beverage, or if you’re watching your bathing suit figure, I’ve got just the thing for you. Enjoy gazing at these sweet spaces – all the chocolaty goodness, none of the calories.

So, what do you think? Are you crazy for chocolate decor?

I love the white or cream colored kitchen with the chocolate counter tops!

My sister-in-law's home is entirely taupe and dark brown – in every room. I'm not a fan but to each his own. I think a little color of some kind in each of the rooms would make a much more welcoming feeling for guests. Also, her wooden floors are the darkest of browns. The rooms you presented to us were pleasant because they had a various amount of different color tones added in.

Dreaming of chocolate-colored interiors, I have been inspired lately by autumn, and the thought of curling up in comfort in luxe lodging.

I can easily visualize walking into:

An entry way with hardwood floors covered in a gold Forever in Plaid area rug from the HGTV Home collection. Perhaps with chocolate-colored walls offset by white trim, base boards and crown molding.

I am actually on my way to the den. The walls are covered with a rich butterscotch paint. And, the floor is covered by a Shaw area rug; I believe it is the weaver’s blanket area rug in dark multi from the Bob Timberlake collection. Its colors remind me of the blackberry brambles outside. Inside the den, the fire is crackling, and two chocolate leather recliners await. Along with what else? A couple of cups of hot cocoa.

    Sweet dreams!

I love the chocolate color as much as I love chocolates. I even have a wall of one of my rooms in that color.

  5. Thanks for the interesting article post. when a person thinks that no matter what would he do other will always consider or regard it as a wrong thing so such person makes their world in themselves and don’t consider other view in their life.
