If you have trouble perking up in the morning, maybe what you need is a neon yellow bathtub? Granted this tub from Blu Bathworks would be a tough shade to work into most decor (it comes in other colors too), but I kind of love it. It works especially well against concrete and could turn an otherwise stark space into one that’s fun and playful. Am I crazy? Will this scream “2013″ five years from now?

Personally, I like the idea of using timeless, classic colors on big ticket items that can easily be accented or accessorized with pops of color via a shower curtain, artwork, etc., but thank you for sharing the blog thread with us!

The color somewhat reminds me of a sunny yellow. I can easily envision a vintage-inspired country sign that reads in bright sunny yellow letters, “rise and shine” or “arise and shine.” And, I can easily envision substituting this whimsical message in the wonderfully brilliant bathroom that is featured with this blog thread; I believe it is designed by De Meza Architecture and Interiors.

To play off that “rise and shine” pixilated message, I can easily see adding a framed country quilt sampler in either a bold white-and-sunny yellow or white-and-orange pattern. Thanks for providing the inspiration!

I really like the tub featured in an article on the HGTV website entitled “Bathtub Faucet Buyer’s Guide” that was written by Jenny Nash.

It’s definitely a statement piece! (And, it would work perfectly in my dream bathroom described above in my other comment.)
