If you have trouble perking up in the morning, maybe what you need is a neon yellow bathtub? Granted this tub from Blu Bathworks would be a tough shade to work into most decor (it comes in other colors too), but I kind of love it. It works especially well against concrete and could turn an otherwise stark space into one that’s fun and playful. Am I crazy? Will this scream “2013″ five years from now?

Personally, I like the idea of using timeless, classic colors on big ticket items that can easily be accented or accessorized with pops of color via a shower curtain, artwork, etc., but thank you for sharing the blog thread with us!

The color somewhat reminds me of a sunny yellow. I can easily envision a vintage-inspired country sign that reads in bright sunny yellow letters, “rise and shine” or “arise and shine.” And, I can easily envision substituting this whimsical message in the wonderfully brilliant bathroom that is featured with this blog thread; I believe it is designed by De Meza Architecture and Interiors.

To play off that “rise and shine” pixilated message, I can easily see adding a framed country quilt sampler in either a bold white-and-sunny yellow or white-and-orange pattern. Thanks for providing the inspiration!

I really like the tub featured in an article on the HGTV website entitled “Bathtub Faucet Buyer’s Guide” that was written by Jenny Nash.

It’s definitely a statement piece! (And, it would work perfectly in my dream bathroom described above in my other comment.)

  5. The singer says that she loves getting ready for her shows, “the makeup, the dresses,” and that her favorite dress is a “long and sparkly” one she wears at the end of her Speak Now concerts when she sings the song, “Love Story.” She describes it as a “total princess dress,” which she says is natural for her to wear.

  6. I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my own weblog and was curious what all is
needed to get setup? I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost
a pretty penny? I’m not very web savvy so I’m not 100% positive.
Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
