Congratulations to Faye B., who says “My eleven-year-old Cairn is my rehab coach. He walks ahead of me on his leash and makes a soft bark as I work to keep up. He inspires me to keep trying after my heart surgery!” Faye will win a pet-themed pillow of her choice. Check back on September 21 for a special Halloween-themed giveaway.

Fall is (unofficially) here, and that means it’s time to cozy up on the couch. I know I’m ready to settle in with my Corgi-bulldog mix puppy Miles for movie marathons and fall TV premieres. Even if your four-pawed friend isn’t actually allowed on the couch during said marathons, you can add your favorite breed’s likeness to the sofa with this month’s giveaway from adorable pillow purveyor Studio 773 by Eastern Accents. One lucky Design Happens reader will win a dog-embellished pillow!

Dog Pillows From Studio 773

Whether you have a Bichon Frise like Camille’s pups or a regal Beagle like Marianne, your friend will know he or she is 100 percent a part of the family.  The winning reader will get to choose one pillow of their choice.

Ever since I was 8 years old, I wanted a puppy. I finally got one two years ago at the age of 28. He is a blue heeler, very sweet with lots of energy. I have to leave town for work a lot, and when I get home, he is always the most excited to see me (maybe even more excited than my boyfriend!). 20 years is a long time to wait, but it was worth it!

Hi I have a beagle named Maggie. Did she write to you and tell you that she is regal? There are times when I swear she is trying to speak but I didn't know she was using the computer.

I have 3 Westies and love them all so much! They each have their own personality, but they all will lay their head on me and look up at me, wanting to be petted and it's so sweet!

Yes, I have 3 Chihuahuas and a Siamese cat. My best memories of my pets actually happen everyday. I see their "happy little faces" greeting me after work and it brings me so much joy!!!

We have a Shetland Sheepdog named Coby. He's 13 years old and loves to be around the family. When our daughters were younger, we would take Coby to the park and each of us would run in a different direction. He would bark and try to catch us and round us up like we were his sheep.

We had lost our fawn pug (Barry) due to heat stroke. I was so heartbroken I didn't think I would ever want another dog. Several months later my husband talked me into taking a look at some dogs an old lady had. There happened to be a female brindle pug with most of her tail missing and her living conditions were not even close to good. We took her home with us and I have never regretted it. She is my comforter. I lost my mom just this week and all I have wanted is to sit with my Bella pug. I am very grateful for her.

We have two cats, but definitely plan on getting a couple pups in a couple years. Favorite memory would have to be when we found a tiny kitten outside our window and the kitty we already had took care of him. I have the sweetest photos of them cuddling. Now he's a lazy piece of lard that's bigger than she is!

We have 2 labradoodles. They are so much fun, lovable, they love to cuddle, and sit on our laps. I also had a golden retriever/yellow lab mix growing up and he passed away a couple years after I graduated college. My favorite memory of him is when we brought him home from the humane society about 5 days before my birthday. He ended up getting car sick on the way home and puked all over my lap. He was a wonderful companion and I still miss him to this very day.
