Congratulations to Faye B., who says “My eleven-year-old Cairn is my rehab coach. He walks ahead of me on his leash and makes a soft bark as I work to keep up. He inspires me to keep trying after my heart surgery!” Faye will win a pet-themed pillow of her choice. Check back on September 21 for a special Halloween-themed giveaway.

Fall is (unofficially) here, and that means it’s time to cozy up on the couch. I know I’m ready to settle in with my Corgi-bulldog mix puppy Miles for movie marathons and fall TV premieres. Even if your four-pawed friend isn’t actually allowed on the couch during said marathons, you can add your favorite breed’s likeness to the sofa with this month’s giveaway from adorable pillow purveyor Studio 773 by Eastern Accents. One lucky Design Happens reader will win a dog-embellished pillow!

Dog Pillows From Studio 773

Whether you have a Bichon Frise like Camille’s pups or a regal Beagle like Marianne, your friend will know he or she is 100 percent a part of the family.  The winning reader will get to choose one pillow of their choice.

To enter for a chance to win, leave a comment below. This month’s question: Do you have a pet? What’s your favorite memory of your dog or cat?

You may only comment once to be considered, and you don’t have to purchase anything to win; a purchase will not increase your chances of winning. Odds depend on total number of entries. Void where prohibited by law. Only open to legal residents of 50 U.S., D.C. or Puerto Rico, and you must be at least 18 years of age to win. All entries (comments) must be entered between 12:00 p.m. ET on September 6, 2013 and 12:00 p.m. ET on September 9, 2013. Subject to full official rules. I have a beautiful American Eskimo (Eskie) dog named Finian (means little white one in Irish). My favorite memory is him hiking his blanket through his back legs again and again and again til he's exhausted.

I'm 30 & just got my first dog: a Parson Russell terrier named Thomas. My favorite memory so far is of Thomas falling asleep with his head on all things puppy-head-height: my foot, a stair, etc.

I have an adorable Chihuahua named Simba, and he's absolutely my everything! <3 My favorite memory has to be when I was tired from a long day, he sat on my lap looking at me with his baby eyes; that was the first time he ever got close to me since I got him. I really felt like I connected with him :)

Our rescue Lab, Bella, knows 3 tricks which she does in order as we count. It is SO CUTE! Gotta love dogs! She is all wag and her bright eyes are the best part of each day.

We have a mastiff, Tank, who will be 13 in November. We also had his sister, Pepper, but she died from cancer last year. Tank is 165 lbs. and he still thinks he is supposed to be a lap dog. If he can figure out a way to climb on you he will but at his age we spoil him and sit on the floor so he can just plop down on us! What a baby dog!

Just recently my Mom& Dads 22 yr log cat Mr. Morgan passed away. They were very sad. I have 6 cats one named Nabia. She is very different from my other cats. She has really never got along with them. She was born in a cage where as my other cats were born out side. They all live inside now. Nabia is over weight and would do so much better at My parents house. So last Saturday she moved in with my parents. Now she will be the princess she was always ment to be. I miss her desperately but in a few weeks I will go visit and we will be able to see each other again. I love my parents and Nabia❤

We have 2 dogs Belle is a 6 year old Puggle and Gizmo is a 2 year old Bugg. Gizmo has been the baby since we brought him home. We have 3 daughters 16 and 11 years old then surprise a 2 month old. Our favorite memory just happen we did not know how Gizmo would react to the baby he surprised us all. When we brought her home she was laying on the couch he jumped up next to her and layed down. Gizmo wanted to be as close as he could so he rolled over on his back and wiggled his way closer to snuggle with her. He layed there and fell asleep all 4 paws up in the air and his cheek pressed up against hers. We love the pictures of our Baby Bugg with our Baby Girl.
