• Tell Your Friends

Usually I’m inspired by food when it comes to Mood Board Monday, but this week’s hue comes straight from my friend’s wardrobe and the runways: the military-style jacket. This certainly isn’t a transitional hue, so if you’re still hanging on tight to last season, well … it’s time to let go and embrace fall with deeper green tones. Tell me, what’s your favorite pairing with olive?

I love olive green with a touch of red, like this dress:

    Love those vintage-style dresses!

One of my favorites that is the main color in my home. You can use any accent color, bright to muted and change a room in a day. Red in my Bedroom, Yellow and Orange in the Living Room and Blue in the Kitchen. It doesn't have to be Olive Drab!

Green is my favorite color (have green eyes) & olive is my favorite green. Like all the new combinations designers are playing with.

As a child of the sixties and seventies, I am loathe to use olive green, just another word for 'avocado' (you know the refrigerators and stoves of the 'love generation').

Olive green is my favorite color too. A color that I feel goes well with it is dark chocolate brown. Our living room is olive green with dark brown trim, and it looks beautiful. The colors really compliment each other.
