You’ve probably noticed that we’re starting the holidays a little early this year. That’s because we’re throwing a party with our friends over at DIY’s Made + Remade, and we want to bring all of you along with us! This week, we’re sharing the moodboards that helped us plan the festive look and feel. Now that you’ve seen our fireplace and mantel plans and bar area overview, take a look at our plan for the main event: The holiday table.

If you’re hosting a sit-down dinner like we are, it’s important to add festive touches while still allowing guests plenty of room for food, drink and conversation.

Here’s a detailed look at our table plans:

We’ll also bring plenty of sparkle through metallic accents, handmade mercury-glass votives and more. And, of course, we’ll show you how we made all of the elements for the table in the coming weeks.

We’ve teamed up with our friends over at DIYNetwork.com’s Made + Remade to throw a holiday party, and you’re invited!

Follow along as we craft the party decor, set the holiday table and cook up the menu. Along the way, you’ll get the step-by-step instructions and tips to throw a great party in your home. Catch up on all the posts here.

PLEASE HGTV, you have so many holiday deco shows. Please, replay old & new shows thru out the season!!! Sick of "love it or list it", "property brothers", property virgins, income property.

I agree, i like the decorating shows, Candice, Genevive, David, the Cousins, the Brothers etc. i get so sick of the one Love It or List It. you know all the bickering is staged, or they find a lot of bitchy women that can't be happy with a home if you gave them a mansion. hate the fakeness. Bring back Candice, and them. :)

I 100% agree, i am sick of love it or list it, property virgins and income property. What happen to the shows from the former winners of the contest? HGTV is loosing it's flavor!

I hate "Love it or List it." Cancel the show. It covers a lot of crappy row homes. I couldn't care less.

I agree with all the above comments. I love the old shows that was shown with you first when on the air. I like shows that show you how to do different rooms. Would like to see new shows from Candance Olson. I can't stand to watch Love It or List It. I have almost quit watching HGTV because I don't the shows you are bring on at night.
