It’s been a while since we featured projects specifically for oenophiles, but if you’ve crafted with all of your corks and are still looking for more raw materials, look no further than the wooden wine crate. Like milk crates, these sturdy boxes are surprisingly simple to transform and have a certain rustic flair. (Not big on wine? Fruit or soda crates may work for many of these makeovers, or you can head to your local craft supply store for plain crates.) Drink in these clever ideas and when you find one you like, try the tutorial!

I like the crate ideas..and as I scrolled down to see other people's thoughts I am amazed to see that SO MANY folks feel as I do… I am SO tired of David and Hilary- and house hunters, US and International have become almost boring! I can almost turn the volume off and say what is being said on the screen… give or take comments abt the history if a specific building. where did the Kitchen Cousins go? I loved Genevieve Gorder, and the other decorating shows… and the Crafting and DIY decorating shows that made HGTV what is was… PLEASE give us some of those types of shows back- even if u still leave on current episodes if House Hunters- I mean, seriously, I have seen 30 episodes this week on the guide channel for my DISH! And th at was in a two day period…if u have to show marathons, show back to back of David Bromstadt, or The Kitchen Cousins, or ANY of the decirating/yard shows!!
