Living in Alaska where our winter is long…..(October till mid April) white is refreshing. Look forward to yellow (spring) mid February but who can complain when spring is in May or June? Winters are long, summers short. Anything you can do to improve your home helps. The succulents in the wooden bowl is really nice. Love the use of all those old sweaters we all have. Think I may have to make the man's shirt pillow, a clever use for those shirts my husband is always putting a hole in the sleeve !

I was thinking of using old sweaters to cover ugly plastic pots. I have a lot of houseplants and pots aren't cheap. It is a nice way to add color! South Dakota winters are long and cold too.

Above tips are really ravishing, where many activities can be done during winter time. It is held as the best time where many outdoor activities can be taken out along with home improvement. I genuinely liked the idea of re purposing old sweaters into lamp shade.
