Congratulations to this month’s random winner, Kristin! Check back on April 4 for another great giveaway.

I’m sensing signs of spring all around East Tennessee: My yard’s first crocuses and daffodils are starting to bloom and temperatures are climbing, if only a little. That’s all the encouragement I need to start thinking about spring parties. A set of table linens in fresh spring hues is a great way to get ready for that first warm-weather event, and this month we’re loving Coyuchi’s new line of natural-fiber tabletop pieces featuring colors inspired by flowers and plants. The company even has a collection inspired by our March Color of the Month, Orchid:

Organic Table Linens From Coyuchi
One lucky reader will win 1 set of napkins, 1 table runner and 4 placemats from the Coyuchi tabletop collection of their choice. Read on to enter for a chance to win this great prize!

The first thing I do to get ready for Spring's arrival is clean the patio furniture, buy new outdoor throw pillows for the patio chairs, and add some fresh potted flowers around the patio to spruce it up a bit. The next thing I do is to get the fire pit ready as our family loves to spend as much time outdoors as possible. This is my favorite season!

After the snow melts, first thing I'm doing is cleaning up the yard! I have plans to do something spring cleaning as well. Cleaning out the garage and donating things I don't use anymore.

The first thing I do to get ready for spring is open some windows to get some new air into the house, I love the feeling of having some of the outdoors inside.

The first thing I do is open the windows to let some fresh air breeze through the house, and clean clean clean! It's not spring until my home feels as fresh as the budding flowers! :)

Aside from the usual spring cleaning inside and out, I always look forward to switching bedspreads and closets to spring/summery styles and opening every window in the house. Fresh air is good for the soul!

The first thing I do is clean up the yard… with 3 big dogs there is always a lot to do!! After that, we go for a lot of walks since there is more light and better temperatures. We do not have crocuses or visible ground yet!

To get ready for spring I sort through my children’s clothing. I have them try on things from the year before and then make a list for things they need to supplement clothes they already have.
