    Boil a pot of water with a few cinnamon sticks,and let it simmer until cinnamon permeates the house. Also, use scented air filters for your ac/furnace.

    Love rearranging furniture from one room to another & adding one new piece of furniture to that room whether it be a floor piece or a simple lamp. It's unbelievable how new,fresh & lovely you can make it without breaking the bank!

    I am on a very, very tight budget, but I am always able to freshen up our house with fresh flowers. Also, I look for cute little accessories on sale. Even if they don't match my color palette, I can always use spray paint to make it the color I need. There's always easy DIY things that will liven up a room.
