I found out a little late that today is National Chocolate Chip Day which means I didn’t get to aggressively eat chocolate chips all day. (I can’t decide if that’s a good thing or a bad thing yet.) But it has given me plenty of time to browse some drool-inducing recipes for later. Tonight may be a dessert first kind of night. Here are my favorite picks, with first place going to the chocolate chip banana bread. That glaze — I can’t stop staring.

As the saying goes, Kayla, timing is of the essence. I had just polished off my second chocolate chip cookie of the day and feeling a little guilty for exceeding my one a day limit when I came across your recent post proclaiming this date as National Chocolate Chip Day. Now I might as well continue the celebration with a few other chocolate chip delights.

I can say with absolute certainty that given the choice between the chocolate chip cheesecake brownies or the chocolate chip sandwich bread, I'd go for both with equal gusto.

On a historic note, I'm sure that when Marie Antoinette was quoted as saying to the French people, "Let them eat cake" that she was kindly thinking of the cheesecake brownies and of course, National Chocolate Chip Day.
