HGTV Handmade’s Crafters on YouTube (L to R): MegAllanColeCrafts, HGTVCrafternoon, simpleDIYs and Anneorshine

The team over at HGTV Handmade (some of YouTube’s best crafters) had a friendly competition going on with their “White Craft Challenge.” Much like the renowned HGTV Star “White Room Challenge,” where competitors must each decorate an all-white room with very limited supplies, the stars of HGTV Handmade each decorated super snooze-worthy “white” lamps following just two requirements: One, they could only use what they had in their current possession (no trips to the craft store allowed!) and two, when the lamp was finished, it must still be able to function as a light source.

Watch as the crew revealed their completed lamps (then see how you can win them!):

(You can watch the complete White Craft Challenge Series as it unfolds by visiting the HGTV Handmade channel on YouTube.)

Last week, we gave away Marianne and Meg’s lamps (they’ve already been shipped to their winners!). Today, we’re offering up the lamps crafted by Ann and Julia (below).

Two lucky Design Happens readers will each win a lamp. To enter for a chance to win one, simply leave a comment below. This week’s question: Living room lamps — do you like them to be “matchy-matchy,” or do you prefer them to each have their own look?

You may only comment once to be considered, and you don’t have to purchase anything to win; a purchase will not increase your chances of winning. Odds depend on total number of entries. Void where prohibited by law. Only open to legal residents of 50 U.S., D.C. or Puerto Rico, and you must be at least 18 years of age to win. All entries (comments) must be entered between 3:00 p.m. ET on August 1, 2014 and 3:00 p.m. ET on August 4, 2014. Subject to full official rules. By leaving a comment on the blog, you acknowledge your acceptance to the Official Rules. ARV of each prize: $50.00. ARV of both prizes: $100.00. 5. Right now it appears like Movable Type is the best blogging
platform out there right now. (from what I’ve read) Is that what you’re using on your
    blog?

  6. It’s nearly impossible to find well-informed people on this
subject, but you sound like you know what you’re talking
    about! Thanks
