We’re so excited to announce that we’ve partnered up for the holidays again this year with our friends at Etsy. (Remember last year’s amazing Christmas crafts?) This year, we’re featuring Etsy on an upcoming episode of Design on a Dime, airing Saturday, Dec. 10 at 8p/7c.

We’re all big fans of their Treasury. The Treasury allows you to create a collection of your favorite Etsy items and share it with your friends.

Making one is super-simple: learn how here. You can even browse our gorgeous Christmas decorating tips for inspiration.

Create your own HGTV-inspired Treasury with Etsy products, and we just might feature your creation on our blog!

So my production company is in Park City, Utah, shooting the online videos for the 2012 HGTV Dream Home. Um? Oh. My. Gawd. For any of you who’ve yet to experience this magical state, which is easily the most gorgeous place in the world, you are missin’ out, y’all! Everywhere you look, there’s picturesque scenery packed with to-die-for colors.

And although Utah itself is incredible, the 2012 HGTV Dream Home is just as spectacular. Designer Linda Woodrum has done it again. This time, the house is right smack in the center of a rustic piece of property, which looks out over the Provo River and onto gorgeous Utah mountains. The interiors are transitional and neutral, spotlighting the blue tones from the Utah sky, which Linda used in a subtle, sophisticated manner.

And although I’m stoked to be here working on it, I can’t help but think to myself, “It really sucks that I’m disqualified from winning it.”

All y’all who are eligible to win better plan to get crackin’ when the sweepstakes starts on Dec. 29, 2011, at 9am ET. (You’ll be able to tour the house starting Dec. 1 — until then, stay up-to-date at Dream Home Central.) A life in Utah would be the closest thing to heaven on earth there is. Stay tuned!

Do you love a fast-paced life? Do you equate the constant sound of a city to a flowing river? Do you simply consider yourself a city person? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you’ll love this year’s HGTV Urban Oasis apartment in the heart of downtown Chicago. To top it off, HGTV star Vern Yipp designed and decorated the entire flat with jaw-dropping, Arts and Crafts meets mid-century modern flair.

Urban Oasis in the Trump International Hotel and Tower Chicago

If you win the Urban Oasis Giveaway, you’ll be calling the 35th floor of the Trump International Hotel and Tower “home.” Can you even imagine? With a lobby like that, everyday will feel like a luxurious holiday.

Then when you get home after, say, a long day at work, you step into this? It would feel like a dream every single day. I absolutely love the soothing green Vern used for this sophisticated high-rise pad.

Starting August 18 at 9 am ET, you can enter twice per day— once on HGTV.com and once on FrontDoor.com— for a chance to win this beauty. But first, don’t forget to check out what Vern has to say about decorating the Urban Oasis 2011 apartment And tour every room for details on his stellar design.

After clicking through the pictures and taking a guided video tour with our feature blogger Brian Patrick Flynn, I’ve decided the living room (with that spectacular view) is my favorite room. What’s your favorite room in the apartment?

Take the tour and tell us in the comment area below.

The day has finally arrived. Today is officially the last day to enter to win the oh-so-stunning HGTV Dream Home 2011. But don’t worry, you still have until 5 p.m. EST to submit your last two entries (once on HGTV.com, once on FrontDoor.com), so make them count!

I’ve  been a die-hard fan of the Vermont resort-style home since day one. There’s something so appealing about a warm, rustic home surrounded by snow-covered mountains and sky-high trees nestled in an active resort town. Wouldn’t you agree?

Here are four reasons to submit your last two (or first two) entries. Hey, you never know, you could get lucky, like HGTV Urban Oasis 2010 winner Adam Venckauskas.

Tick Tock

I love pictures of dogs in beautifully designed rooms…especially when they are on the furniture. So as I watched the 2011 Westminster Dog Show, I got to wondering…do the owners of those prize-winning pooches allow them on the couch? I bet the Pekingese that took home top prize for the toy group has sofa privileges. Certainly not the 85-pound Scottish Deerhound, right?

Well, my three fur babies won’t win best in show at Madison Square Garden, but they are best in everything in our hearts and home, so they are allowed on the couch and in the bed. What about in your house? If you lived in these rooms, would you change your mind?

I’m not a cold weather person, but for several weeks, the HGTV Dream Home 2011 and Stowe, Vt., have been consuming my thoughts. There’s something so dreamy and charming about this snow-covered skier’s paradise. I’ve even gone so far as to picture myself enjoying my morning coffee on the master bedroom’s private balcony while soaking up the surrounding mountain views and brisk air.

Sigh … isn’t she beautiful? Let’s head inside!

We’ve got what you’ve been looking for: the best of the best from the 2009 HGTV Dream Home! Tons of great photos from every room all in one place.

I love the color scheme of the office. Orange and gray is a trendy color combination, but add in white trims and streamlined furnishings and the space retains a classic feel.

A traditionalist at heart, I’m drawn to the cool blue, classic furniture and elegant draperies in the living room.

What’s your favorite room? Plus, don’t miss any of the other spaces or the chance to enter the sweepstakes.

Gentlemen start your engines and get your clicking fingers ready. While you and I were ringing in the New Year, the 11th annual HGTV Dream Home Giveaway began. Now let’s get down to business. This year’s prize includes a gorgeous home in Winter Park, Colorado (ski in, ski out anyone?), a 2007 GMC Acadia and $250,000 in cash (the cold, hard kind). In total, this kit and kabootle is worth more than $2.5 million. Not a bad payoff for a couple of clicks! And just when you thought it couldn’t get any sweeter, the good folks here at HGTV.com let you enter once a day every day through Feb. 16. I say wax up the skis!

Now for the design part. There are so many neat things about this house. I already posted a photo of the adorable bunkroom. But now I’m leaning more toward the lodge room. Those high ceilings with gorgeous beams seal the deal for me (You can’t see them in the photo below, so check out the tour instead.) Which room is your favorite?
