Jewelry storage is so tricky, don’t you think? I have my accessories draped on hooks and dumped in trinket bowls, and the whole effect comes across as sloppy. I think the clear solution is a Bling Box.

You can customize your Bling Box with dozens of backgrounds, but my favorite is this painterly scene by artist Amy Sia. I think it would elevate my jumbled bangles and tangled pedants to a work of art.

Jewelry storage is a huge problem for me. I have an overflowing jewelry box, an overloaded jewelry stand, and several jewelry catch-alls that are at capacity. So you know I’m swooning over this bathroom by Molly Luetkemeyer of M. Design Interiors Inc.

For the 12 days leading up to Christmas, I’ve been sharing with you my design wish list for Santa. We’re more than half-way there. Now, I know I’m crossing the line and treading into fashion with wish list item #8 – a bracelet from Nervous System – but I think it’s worth it.

Two MIT graduates founded Nervous System. All of their housewares and jewelry designs are grounded in natural forms and geometries. For instance, this bracelet is inspired by radiolaria.

If you’re wishing for jewelry this Christmas, what’s at the top of your list?
