I would love to be the winner of this home, but I think it should be left up to hgtv to decide who the winner is. I do not think it should be a hardship case. It is a gorgeous home and I keep viewing it on line. I think the 2008 home should be in Nevada.

I think the 2008 Dream Home will be on Lake Quivira, Kansas. Or close to there. If the scrabble clues have anything to do with it. In any case it’s fun to dream about, right?
My husband and I took a vacation back in 1988 to Colorado, it was the best vacation we ever had. So I am hoping we have a chance to win the beautiful dream home so all of my family can see how beauitful Colorado is,and the hgtv dream home. thanks for giving everyone a chance to win the hgtv dream home. I have told everyone I am winning…I have marked the calendar on March 17 to clean the house for the live show that will be here on March 18! My dog’s name is Aspen but I will change it to W.P.

I hope to win the 2007 Dream Home. I love Colorado it has grown on me. My husband is gone alot due to the military lifestyle and think it would be a great surprise for him to home to.
I think that the 2008 Dream Home location is in Northern Michigan or the upper pennisula since there is great fishing to be had and the dogwood tree is the state tree.
I think the 2008 Dream Home should be in central Texas.
Do you all believe that the actual winner will not hear that he or she has won the contest until the live show on March 18th??? There’s is no way that they would take the chance of doing a live show at the door step of the winner and not have the person at home. The drawing was probably Monday or Tuesday of this week and I suspect that the winner has either been called already or will be called soon, as they have to make sure that the winner qualifies, etc. I suspect the March 18th surprise visit to the winner is all set up before hand. If you read the rules carefully, you will see that the winner is either called or notified by mail. Also, don’t you think there must be several million entries? Those of you writing stating that you know you’ve already won because you’ve prayed to God – God help you!
Winning this would change everything. We might live in it for a short amount of time, and then sell it to help our daughter and 3 grandkids. After buying them a home, we would buy ourselves a home (or pay off our current home), and then I would decide if we had enough money left to retire early (I’m at the door of 50).
Whoever wins I hope it helps their lives and might HGTV be blessed, for hopefully improving somebody’s. Robert…

I love this year’s Dream House..As several people have already stated, each year they get better and better. It is so exciting to be able to “dream” for a couple of months out of the year about the possibility of winning this house and sharing it with my family. I’ve always dreamed of learning to snow ski and what an opportunity. Good luck to all!!
Truth, fiction, wisdom, flights of fancy and everything in between! HGTV SPONSORS: It would make people happier if you’d take the cash outlay for the ‘dreamhomes’ and build a half dozen cool homes around the country! Just think, you could do it year around; and people would tune in as a new place was described every two months! Wouldn’t that be a better marketing approach… alienate fewer people and make more dreams real? Since people want homes and locals they can live in and enjoy: why not give it to them?! It could be set up to serve both your needs and theirs with a little creativity on your part. Why not do it and make some dreams realities for a number of these people before another network or market steals your thunder?! If you need someone to help set it up: we’re waiting. READERS: isn’t this a much better approach?

today is my birthday(3-1-07)and i’m not asking for anything cause i know that God will bless us with the 2007 HGTV Dream Home cause He said that anything i ask in His name i shall recieve. ctime to move out of raggly east chicago and out of a apartment and 6 people into my God’s Blessing on March 18th at 6 p.m.cause God is goin’ choose the winner anyway, not the judges. my faith is my strenght and i’m thinkin’ no bad thoughts. i’m tellin’ everybody that we movin’ thier, i look at this house everyday, i got it hung up on my wall, write in my jounal, thinkin’ about it all the time. God is awesome ain’t He and if He don’t bless us with it or some body else needs it more than we do He has been to good to me not to give me a better one cause my blessin comin anyways and i still alive had a wonderful birthday but i know He got my back and the first i’m goin’ tell my momma is pay our tidthes for the building fund at my church. we all can start a new life cause God said i should inharit the earth and have life and have it more abunantly but one thing i will never do is never honor materiallistic things cause down here is just temporary cause i got my mansion up in heaven. i’m sorry i’m preachin’ right now all i’m sayin is God bless and spread love and peace so we can live with the King forever.

I would love to have this beautiful home for different reasons than most. I have had a 1190 square foot home with 2 small closets for 30 years and that is what I would be most proud of having,CLOSETS. Thanks HGTV for all the good years.
I thought I was the only one who enter almost everyday to win the dream house, who looks at it everyday, I put a picture or it like my wallpaper in my computer too. I haven’t got any phone call or mail yet to tell me we won, I am still waiting.
Well, I want to give a surprise to my husband on his 50 birthday next March 8th. I hope we win the dream home. I am sure it will inspire him to write that book he has on mind since a long time ago. He’s such a good husband and father that I think he deserves it. I know, I know, there are many nice people out there who also deserve it. God bless everyone.

From what I can see on HGTV of the Dream House, it is a beautiful house and would be anyone’s dream to winn it (especially mine)!! This is only a “Dream” and I would love to have this “Dream.” WHO WOULDN’T????

I think it would be so nice if, say maybe, Bill Gates, Ted Turner, Fred Smith, Rupert Murdoch, or maybe even Oprah Winfrey, could win the 2007 HGTV Dream Home. They might have a better chance of paying the taxes and living the American Dream!

I used to live in colorado,from 1975 to 1980 i was only 5 an moved to minnesota in 1980. I would love to go back ,my mom and dad were goin to buy land near ghost town,by a river,it was so beutiful and the smell of the trees,and the sound of the river,close your eyes picture it,are you falling asleep by the river yet,well i used to,as well went i went to camp santa maria,what a great past time as a child,and touring mork and mindys house,cave of the winds,you would have had to been their to appreciate all the beauti and hidden memories,that i still see at 36,i told my parents i would see colorado again,this has been my dream,i will always have a visual sight,and the great memories of 5 years in my heart,my mom always said have faith,dont give up, believe,give when you give god gives back to you 3 times more,i still believe in that,even when us three kids just lost our parents in 1 year and 8 in a half months apart,,what ever your dreams maybe,never loose faith,and always believe….good luck….marrietta mae bacigalupo……..rettamaebagi@yahoo.com

My younger sister got married 2 years ago, and moved to Colorado. My son Michael, and myself have visited her and her husband Mark, many times. Colorado has become a get away for me and my son, we try to get there as much as we can. I would love to live there because it would be great to see my sister and her husband more than we do, family is very important, we talk every day, it would be even better if we could see each other when we want. It would be a dream come true.

I live in MYRTLE BEACH S.C..I made promas to my dad that I would take care of my mother. unfortunaly thing have changed for the worsed. He ask me because he knew that my brothers an sisterwould only take here for her small s.s. check. the just dump her in some rundown nursing home. I know this because it came from here own lips. I have looked every place own my friends pc for land home grants. IHAVE HADE US ON HOUSING and I do not want my mother in the rundown crakeheads and dope dealers. I am at the end of my rope I just want us in a deasnat home here or around the beach. If anyone could point me in another way to beable to keep this promis I wwould be eternaly gratful. my moth is just been told by her Dr that she has parkins alonewith alzimers.
