  3. To Brenda: Actually you’re off by a couple of years unless they are going back to Lake Lure. It was the location of the 06 Dream Home so that’s not likely, in my humble opinion. It is very pretty there though from that ad you saw. I have seen that same spot several times during regular programming.

  4. Hmmm. The beach crafts clue the “fun & games indoors & out” leads me to believe it’s at a seaside resort with gambling in one of the remaining states. Biloxi or Myrtle Beach. (possibly Galveston, but you have to get on a boat for the “games”). The puzzler is the moosehead clue, probably that was just an unwitting red-herring? Or maybe a cryptic reference to “Moosissippi”, lol? The ‘”eye” scrabble clue maybe refers to the fact the the eye of Katrina passed over coastal MS?

    Well, goodness, if anybody deserves it, it’s coastal Mississippi. While everybody in my hometown (New Orleans) has been sitting on their whiney, lazy rears complaining that nobody has been doing enough to help them, Mississippians have been working their own rears off cleaning up & rebuilding. I hope it’s Mississippi, I truly do. Bay St. Louis/Waveland & Pass C, I’ve got my fingers crossed for ya!

  5. Nope…2008′s Dream Home will be built in Lake Powell, Arizona……… Most definitely……all the clues are right on! Beeeeyooooooteeeefull place for a dream home….

  8. Based on the clues given and the states that have already been eliminated,I believe that the new 2008 Dream Home is going to be located on Hilton Head Island, SC. Its warm, secluded, yet great for fishing and beach combing for seashells, and as far as the scrabble game, I think it represents a relaxing feel and on the cool nights and mild wintery months, the fireplace adds a nice ambiance of warmth and coziness.

  9. i hopeits in north mrytle beach in cherry grove area. i love its channels home,if i had one wish it would be win a house there. i love sound waves and smell of the ocean. love watching for birds. i never won nothing i my life. i hope the winner will be me,because with health problems cherry grove would be perfect for me. this is my wish.let be someone that really needs it , not someone that already got millions of dollars let it someone like me.

  10. if i couldn’t win a dream house i would love to wish for the money than there is a house i would love to own. so the money would be fine, fine , it be really a heavenly blessing for my family that money so i buy my dream house a cherry grove area. cause year we rented that home. so it would be nice just to be the owner of that house. this would a great blessing for me and my family because we love the ocean . hope my luck in something great. never won anything before. so this would be the FIRST.I NEED ALL THE LUCK I CAN GET.enter me in the drawing for both please.

  14. The HGTV 2009 I thought was in Natchitoches, LA { They have the City of Lights , a river , etc. } buttttt the last clue said the 31st State which is California sooo it’s Los Angeles { City of Lights & Angels } !!!!!
