Special HGTV Green Home Update: You’re Choosing the Color!
What color should we paint the first HGTV Green Home? There are three possibilities for the home currently being built in South Carolina, and the choice is up to you! Have a look at the color schemes and vote in the poll. We’ll keep the poll going for three weeks, so you can vote once a day until Oct. 12.
Remember, we’re talking about the first HGTV Green Home, not HGTV Dream Home 2008 that’s being built in the Florida Keys.

Where are the floor plans posted? I’ve poked around every page of the site, and can’t find them.
Personally, a warm sage green would go perfect with the theme of the Green Home.
I would say earthy tones of tans & Brown, but with a room by the water a nice ocean blue, How Dreamy.
I think the house is beautiful.
The house built at the Florida Keys is really gorgeous and beautiful. I love the color and everything you did for this house until it becomes a reality. My prayer and my only wish is that I will be able to win this house for me, God willing. I always enter in this sweepstakes almost everyday until it’s over by February 19, 2008. I did not like the bedroom decoration or furniture at all, the color was too strong, the curtains behind the bed look low class and ridiculous.
The colorful and bright look you gave Florida keys house is outstanding! Very cuban/Palm Spring’s ish/Beachy/Fishy/it has all the right elements. I can’t wait to decorate my own basement just like this! Great job Jack for picking location! I believe you can create an oasis look in your home even if you live far away from the beach.
