Clue #4: Lounging in the Florida Keys
As you may have noticed, we like using the Scrabble board to give out hints to the location. I just replaced one of the images in the sitting room and day lounge slide show to sneak in a new Scrabble board. There are at least three words on the board that could apply to the state where we’re heading with HGTV Dream Home 2009. Be sure to check back Tuesday for another clue to the next location.
Also, I’ve noticed a lot of fans out there wishing for an HGTV Dream Home in Puerto Rico. That sounds awesome, but we’ve got to keep it somewhere in the 50 United States. But even though we’re not going to put an HGTV Dream Home in Puerto Rico, our friends over at sister site FineLiving.com are going to send someone on a luxury vacation to the Caribbean island. Near Branson, MO and Lake of the Ozarks
I have been entering since the home became available my knees are getting sore for I have prayed so much for thid house, not for me but really for my father-in-law, my mother-inlaw just died and now he has a blockage in his heart, to win this home to give him a new start on life wiould be the greatest gift in the world, but I know that is not posible, the only person who will win this home has a home already they never think about the people who really needs something like this
The trees in the background of Jack’s video clip sure looked like the North woods, with a hint of a mountain in the background. Could it be a Great Lakes view? Could it be the Western U.P.? I hope not! It would be a shame for this “Heaven North of the Bridge” to be discovered.
City of Palm desert, California
I think it is in central PA, maybe near State College, as in Penn State. There are (“mountains”) or hills, Woolrich, PA (wool), other clues were (lake, Erie, punt, apple, rain, prayer-very close to Amish country). Pennsylvania is beautiful. I grew up there, and miss it very much! My whole family is there. Who hasn’t heard of Penn State Football? That is my guess.
It’s going to be in the “Show Me State” of Missouri! That’s my state and a beautiful state to build a Dream Home! Can’t wait!
I think the plan is to locate the 2009 Dream Home in Massachusetts, (possibly Boston). Count me in! I could live there. I’m retired and husband is retiring this year. Bring it on Baby!
I betting that the next dream house will be located in Stinson Beach, north of San Francisco, CA
I think the 2009 Dream Home will be located in Erie Pensilvania. Home of the Lochness monster in the erie canal, erie conty horse country, Lake Erie lighthouses.
I agree…I think it’s Seattle, Washington.
After the monopoly game board ion the kids’ room clue, I think the 2009 dream house will be built in the state of Tennessee.

Apple the “big apple” N.Y
I still think Branson, Missouri. Lake of the Ozarks would also be a good guess, but I think Branson because it is a more popular vacation area. I love Lake of the Ozarks, but hands down more people visit Branson each year.
Also I heard someone in Branson (last weekend) mention they heard they were building in that area (before I ever started reading the clues here). However, I have also heard they are building a Disney World for like the last 10 years
Well my fiance and I think the clues throw you off…in one direction and the blogs do as well.

I think it will be in Los Cabos, Baja. The globe shows the western states in the middle. The scrabble board says mountains (which run through it), prayer (missions in Cali.), and arch (El Arco). It has to be Baja!
I think it’s going to be San Francisco Bay Area or Monterey Bay. My third choice would be hawaii.
It is TOTALLY Hawaii!! The clues said sand, beach, breeze, falls and aloha! I LOVE these warm weather selections. *sigh* Is it spring yet?

I am finding everyone running in circles humorous. I am stuck on the word “Erie” b/c technically I thought you couldn’t use proper names and city names. The word “eerie” has two “E”s…so that seems like a big indicator.
I was thinking Nevada with all the clues on the first board. And then leaned to Hawai’i on the second board. “Aloha” and “falls” were the likely choices with the “wild” tiles.
