What would you ask the winner?

If you could be there the moment we tell someone they’ve just won the HGTV Dream Home in the Florida Keys, what question would you ask? Add your question to the comments below, and we’ll pick the best ones. We’ll send the list along with our video producer when we surprise the winner on March 16. Then check Dream Home Central later in the week for some special videos, including one where the winner answers YOUR questions!

PS — If you haven’t noticed yet, the HGTV Green Home tour went live earlier today. It’s the eco-friendly home we built near Hilton Head, S.C. You can enter for a chance to win this one starting March 21.

  1. Do you belief that this prize was a gift from God? The Bible says:

    But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” (Matthew 6:33) My advice to you is to live your best life, make time for the key relationships in your life–whether that is your spouse, your children, or your parents. People are God’s most precious creation; so set aside quality time for the special people the Lord has in your life. Surround yourself with the right people and you can fulfill the dreams God gives you. Put yourself in relationships with people who are not only like-minded, but are also seeking to honor God in their own lives.
    Reach out to those around you this holiday season and share His love and forgiveness with them. You are blessed to be a blessing to others!
    God wants you to have a victorious and blessed life. Sometimes people think that an abundant life full of joy and blessings is waiting in heaven, but the fact is God wants you to have it right now! God wants you to be wise and blessed, and you don’t have to wait until eternity to have a bright future! When you pursue God’s wisdom you will find that God’s promises are as bright as the sunrise. His promised blessings of happiness, fulfillment, favor and wisdom come when we receive them. If you want to have a bright future full of hope and faith, start walking on the path of wisdom today.

    I have faith that God has a plan for my family.
    I am going thru a divorce. I do not know what is God’s plan for me at this time. But, I will keep waiting for my turn. Maybe one day I will have a house for my kids.

    True if we BELIEVE! You must have placed your
    wish in God’s hands and He felt like this
    beautiful home should be all your’s. Just please
    remember to thank Him and then count your
    blessings….as was written by Helen S. Rice…
    “Each day there are showers of blessings sent
    from the Father above, for God is a great
    lavish giver and there is no end to His love.”
    Remember those words, because God was good to you
    he is a great provider, and just know that He
    still has plans for you with His great love…

  17. Did you ask God for a miracle, believe that he would bless you, pack your bags and wait by the door because you believed that it was already done? Whenever you found out that you were a winner, what did you do once you picked yourself up off of the floor, thank God, or jump around screaming???? If you didn’t believe in miracles, do you now?

I would say, wow first! and Wow second and Praise God! and then if I am not the winner I would say Since you won the dream house, How would you like to bless a family in Buellton california with the car that you are going to get? We are commuting every day to work and spending over 700.dollars in gas to get to work. We really are in need! We are a family of 5 with 2 vehicles that are ready to fall apart, both are 89, and 95 suv’s and then I would say Thank you God for answering my prayers! God Bless! Lenita.

  32. Living in Florida and all the uncertainties that have come about such as insurance companies not insuring those living on the waterfront, coastline, or by the sea. If the house is worth so much and it is free, well let me rephrase. How are you going to pay the insurance that is if anyone will insure the hone?

I read all of these comments for you, but I would like to say, in such bad times of people losing jobs and homes in Florida that you realize how fortunate you are that you will have a beautiful home or vacation home to live in.
