Clue #8: Can You Name the 31st State?
The last clue pretty much spelled out the state we’ve selected for the location of HGTV Dream Home 2009, but I’ll remove any doubt today. Yes, we’re headed to a state known for sunny coastlines, snowy mountains, natural wonders and great style. Got it yet?
That’s right, we’re heading to California! But that still leaves lots of ground to cover — about 163,000 square miles — and the exact location isn’t set yet. Check back next week and I’ll share additional hints to narrow it down more.

Sonoma/Napa is a county and is located in Santa Rosa California. It’s a historical valley and its a center of wine industry. The beauty of the Valley is the greenery. It located near San Francisco. This will be a dream come true to whom will be the next 2009 winner. I do not live there and never been there but would like to-some day.
