It’s Sunday, and that means we’re announcing the grand prize winner of the HGTV Dream Home Giveaway! Be sure to watch the live HGTV television special tonight at 9pm ET/6pm PT to see who’s moving to the Florida Keys. And remember, we’re also giving away a special prize to a home viewer: a trip for two to the Florida Keys.

  1. I start cancer treatment this week but would happily put it off for a week or two. Oh well, can't hurt to have a dream.

  9. This is for FCOL….you said to ask so I am asking. Does the next home have anything to do with the extinction of zebras and are they on or around the site? (As far as I know, no zebras were harmed in the making of the next HGTV Dream Home. fc)

I am glad that extreme home makeover gives their homes to the underpriviledged/handicapped/those in need, but it is nice to know that the working class americans have a chance to win a dream home too!   29. Well, I’m sitting here wondering if the winner knows yet, and how excited they must or will be. I live in a very rural area in Maine (Often refered to as the sticks). I’ve never been to Florida, never mind owning a home there… I have no sad reason why I should win as God has blessed me with 4 wonderful children and an incredible husband, a modest home and we are surrounded by wonderful people everyday… Congrats to the winner and enjoy… Thanks HGTV for the chance of a lifetime…

    My question is, are you telling us that the exact location of the DH 09 is not set yet? I would have thought by now they would have the foundation done and the framing about done if not complete.

  39. I sit here on pins and needles. I’ve mailed thousands of postcards and entered on line everyday. No activity around my house. It’s very quiet. I put a lot of sweat equity into the house in FL. with all my hard work.I’m sure many of you have to. just two hours and forty five minutes away. If I’m not the winner I wish the best for whoever is.   40. I am v.happy that you started building green homes. I love them. I lived in a green home back in Europe for 25 years. No allergies/no colds or sickness. Everything changed when I moved to the US. We are trying to move to NC or SC and I may contact you to build a green home for us. I will definitely enter, daily, your green home sweepstake. Who knows. I might win.
