First Look at the 2009 HGTV Dream Home!

It looks like Friday got here a little early this week! Here’s an artist’s rendering of the 2009 HGTV Dream Home in Sonoma, Calif. Have a look and come back to the blog to share your thoughts.

And since so many people keep asking, since it’s not shown in the rendering or the floor plans, yes the home does have a two-car detached garage.

Stay tuned — we’ll have more about the home coming soon including videos of the construction. And remember, the 2009 HGTV Dream Home Giveaway starts in January, when you’ll be able to enter daily for a chance to win this gorgeous, Craftsman-style home.

  1. Something with a open space for freshness. The space that tells about nature. Nothing says romance like white with designs on it. The simplest is lilly. With Roman architecture. Beautiful white sheers talking to the wind. A few Majestic statues here and there, like the ones in Hearst castle. Marbles speak for themselves. A rusticness to it but yet elegantly made. An upper level pool which oversees the whole valley. A mystical Kitchen. A inner but yet outerspace bathroom. ” A Rust here, but yet a contrast there”. The house should say Oh I want to embrace this graceful Home.
Bring a few from Indonesia, Bali is a great inspiration for a rustic yet elegant feel. Those dark columns, with contrast to the white lenins. The beat thing one can take from Bali is their outer space. They create ming boggling gardens and backyards which is perfect for Sonoma County.

For me home is where u share happiness, so it should be filled with fun and colors.

Sorry I wrote this without reading the topic, but still a big dream of mine put on paper is happiness for me.

    Enjoy
