Last Chance to Vote for the Outdoor Setting

The voting ends tomorrow for which of three outdoor party themes will welcome the winner of the HGTV Dream Home in Sonoma. Designer Monica Pedersen came up with three gorgeous layouts, all incorporating influences from the home’s location in California wine country. You can vote once a day, so go ahead and get your vote in now and come back tomorrow before 5pm for one last chance to let your voice be heard.

In other HGTV Dream Home news, you’ll want to check the blog often next week. The online team is leaving for Sonoma this Saturday, and they’ll be at the home next week taking tons of photos for the next online tour. I’ll see if I can’t get at least one blog post from them while they’re out there. Also, we’ll be introducing you to the HGTV Dream Home Super Fan next week.

Time really is ticking away, it’s hard to believe that the 2009 HGTV Dream Home Giveaway is only a couple of months away. Mark your calendars, you’ll be able to enter for a chance to win the home in Sonoma starting on Jan. 1.

Also next week, we’ll be revealing the location of the next HGTV Green Home. That’s the eco-friendly home we build and give away each year. Get all the clues on the Green Home blog and see if you can figure out where we’re going. There’s a super location video too, once again starring that dashing raconteur and house planner extraordinaire, Jack Thomasson. And you Jack fans are really going to love this one. Three words: Jack on horseback.

Stay tuned!

  3. Dear Franklin: Jack on horseback? Okay, right when I thought Jack could not be sexier…you put him on a horse? Wow..I can hardly wait for the GREAT photos! You’ve got lots of news, lots of upcoming events…by the way, how was the “big barbeque” at the Dream Home in Sonoma? I could smell the steaks cooking all the way to Brookings, Oregon! This home is perfect for gathering of friends & must have given you a wonderful opportunity to try out the Dream Home’s kitchen with its double islands!! WOW!! Just perfect, especially with the wine cooler at hand!! I love HGTV & I love the 2009DH!! Marie Miller

  4. Hey FabCo! Happy Halloween! Photo’s of Moondoggy atop a hoarse is most defiantly a titillating Halloween TREAT!!! Until the reveal… I’m left with my ever-so unorthodox imagination… hum will Moondoggy look dashingly handsome as in My Knight & Shining Armor… or ruggedly handsome like in Selleck in Quigley Down Under.

Another question for Gail our super-fan is or isn’t Scripps planning to have a Halloween ‘Mask’ this weekend at the Sonoma Dream Home? When exactly is Jack Thomasson’s birthday… month & day? Now down to business… time’s a-wastin!

Pssst… Ooh Moondoggy I’m waiting for my invite… I have sooo many costume ‘Mask’ ideas… since you have the horse… we can attend the Mask as Sir Lancelot & Genevieve… if you prefer you can dress-up as a Bottle of Ledson’s Fine Wine… I could be your favorite Crystal Goblet… My Sensei your Grasshopper…. You the Cup of Coffee me your Sweet Roll.

Wait! By George I think I’ve Got It!!! Moondoggy you go as the ‘Bull Fu Man Chew’ I’ll go as the first female bull rider to stay on longer then 2.7 seconds!!! Heehaw!! Truly an HGTV Home Greatest Hit!!

  10. You can’t know how much I wish I could reister for this home.
I was raised in Sonoma and would give anything to move back there.
MY family still lives there and I would very much like to live near them again.
If it were possible and I say possible to win this home we could then live together.

Is it possible to still register for the sweepstakes?? I could not find the registering site.

  17. I think we will go with table # 3. It suits the setting. Wine for the wine country. They are all lovely, anyone would love to enjoy any of the three.
