Who Will Win?

Good afternoon, bloggers!
Whew — it seems like you all just finished a marathon and now you have to wait to see who won. I am so excited, I can hardly stand it. Will the winner be someone from our blogger “family” who enters every day (and sends in postcards)? Or, do you think it will be the lucky person who happened to enter once? I want to know, I want to know!
Now that you’re free from entering daily, I hope you will spend your time taking the virtual tours and coming up with more questions. I’m ready to answer them.
And just to answer some recent questions:
•The ottoman in the study is a Lewis ottoman by Ethan Allen in a houndstooth fabric. It sits below the clock pictures.
•Also, there is a big storage area in the study and lots of closets and cabinets throughout the house and in the garage.
•Finally, there is no basement in this home. Most of the homes in California do not have basements.

I’m very excited for the results as well! I hope i win ( of course). I’m a triplet and my siblings and i have decided if I win… we will move there and all live together! It would be so much fun! I have a mini doxie and i wonder if the dog house would be too big for my little man kobi!

Of course, no minority, to my recollection, has won an HGTV dream home “give away”. Not one African American or Hispanic. WHY? I really hope that Oprah does a special on this particular subject. It’s worth investigating HGTV’s screening process when choosing a “winner”.

I just really hope whoever wins truly deserves it. I am sorry to say but I kinda hate when they pick a winner and they are already set in life and have a beautiful home.
I entered because I live in the city of philadelphia where murder is happening everyday even to our cops. I wanted to enter to give my family a better life far away from all this. I don’t mean to sound sour I just hope that who gets the home truly, truly NEEDS the house.

Hi – I’ve entered this contest because it would truly be an awesome gift I could share with my family, I have two sisters living in PA. I have not had the opportunity to own a home while living in CA; and it’s always been my DREAM to own a home here and have a place in PA. This would be a great way to give back to my family, which me being the oldest of the girls, has not been able to do that for them. My brother passed before my mother and it’s always felt like we’ve been shorted in life.
This would truly be a Gift of a Lifetime for my family to experience. I can picture my self in that home, almost as our family home in PA (just on a larger scale). It’s the country and that’s where we all grew up; to all be here together and enjoy the California weather would be the most incredible feeling. I just pray that God has his hand on my entries to be able to win this beautiful home.

Oh boy, wouldn’t this be the true american dream??? Well, since I became an american citizen last july, winnining this house would just complete my dream! Where has Ms. Patti gone from Tennessee? She heard from the producers of HGTV and thought that she may have won. My bet is that she did which is why we aren’t hearing from her. Ms. Patti, if you have won and can’t blog to let us know– CONGRATS!!!
