My husband and I can't stop watching this video. Lived in NM and want to go back!
I'm just hoping and praying that this whole contest is on the level. If someone who doesn't need the money, or the home, wins this is going to tell me it's fixed like the majority of contest.
You can imagine whatever you want, I guess…. Its a random sweepstakes drawing, and nobody needs a 2 million dollar prize, but just about everyone could appreciate it.
Wow, Debbie, I agree with dreamn_again. So, if the "right person" doesn't win, it's fixed? What a great excuse to be bitter for somebody else's good luck. I wish you peace.
Wow!!!! There is alot ot think about when dreaming about the DreamHome. I still hope to have a chance at winning. I am currently homeless. I live with my daughter part time and in a trailer my brother has part time. The weather here is cold for the central part of the US. Some one will be the luck one to win the home. We all pray for the chance to be the owner of such a beautiful home. May Gods blessing be on the ones who are lucky to win. Just enjoy the home before anyone has to sell and move on.
At least you can say "I won the DreamHome giveaway" Good luck every one and may God bless the winner.
Thanks HGTV,
I enjoyed watching your Dream Home Vids. Thanks also to the planners, designer, and all the construction folks who made this dream come true. Bravo ! Good luck to all that entered. Perhaps the
Family and I will get a close-up view of heaven on Earth come Friday …In the Land of Enchantment.

Move over you all Miss Denmark 1989 is moving in
But you are all invited for the house party
What a beautiful home. It’s just the right size too to accomadate my large family. I grew up in NM and have always wanted to get beck to the warm dry climate. The Air Force sent us to Alaska in 1985 and I’ve been stuck here ever since. When my wife wanted to adopted children, she found a sibling group in El Paso, TX. Choosing them was the best chose but, I must say that going back to my native Las Cruces near El Paso was a big factor in deciding on my children. We are parents of 13 children. We only have 7 at home now though. The rest have gone on the build their own families. With both my wife and I dealing with health issues, the dry warm climate is becoming more than just something we want. It’s becoming something we need. I hope the family that needs the prize the most wins. Good luck to all. Thanks HGTV for this dream. I hope it comes true.

Does the master bathroom have a potty?
The master bath has a toilet in a little alcove with a doorway for privacy.
So many people hoping and dreaming about winning this exquisite southwestern dream house! I've been hoping and praying to be the lucky winner. The most wonderful time of my life was spent living in the southwest foothills of southern Colorado and after moving away 20 years ago I still long for this beautiful climate and environment. My family and I will be so happy to move in to this dream house! I hope and pray the home goes to someone like me who will fill it with life, love and happy times. This is truly my "dream come true"! Thank you HGTV.
Thank You God and thank you HGTV. for a chance for my mother to win this home. It is more than what we could ever dream of for me and my family I am sure we will enjoy this home for years to come. My mother is at home and at peace. Again THANK YOU. This is a dream that has finally come dream.

I would love to win the beautiful Dream Home. I has the most beautiful rooms I have ever seen. Oh, I would be so happy in that beautiful Dream Home,
Comment 1. While watching Holmes on Holmes tonight, I just happened to see the advertisement for the 2010 dream house. I am so happy that I caught the ad the day prior to the deadline, as I'm pushing the limit here with our one and only "dream house" entry. But, stranger things have happened to us since we moved to Arizona, so maybe my timing might be just right. My partner John and I, have been together for 15 years, and have shared much heartache in the past 5 years. No one needs to hear about bad times, let alone live through them, but we did learn that it's hard to keep your dreams in sight if you keep living in the past. This comment is continued on another post.
Comment 2. We have been afraid to dream again, fearful of losing everything. We feel that depending on someone else for housing, gives away our power to really LIVE the life we want, without having to answer to anyone but ourselves. We are currently tenants, and we know all too well that a lease can be broken at any time, and for any reason. We had no reason to stay in New England, so we decided to head west and made a move to Arizona a year ago last April. We knew no one here, we have no family nearby, and after renting apartments and houses over the past 15 months, we finally found what we believe is a dream "cottage on the creek". It has it’s quirks, but we are happy here, for now. This comment is continued on another post.
Comment 3.The cottage (is really a double-wide trailer), and does not belong to us. We could not qualify for a mortgage (due to past events), so our REAL DREAM would be to have enough land for our two Labradors (and maybe a few more), all in a home we could call our own. (We have no children, so we treat our pups as if they were). Having a home of our own would be our first blessing and the land, a second blessing. As far as the GMC goes, that too would be a blessing, as we are driving a 1998 Subaru Outback, with over 220,000 miles on it. John has always dreamed of becoming a Veterinarian Technician, and with the extra money, he would be able to pursue his degree, and open a kennel where we can breed and train Labrador puppies. There is nothing like holding a 5 week old blue eyed puppy in your arms. They are the most lovable non-human beings we have ever encountered. This comment is continued on another post.
Comment 4. They are also such wonderful "assistants" to those who are disabled, or as search and rescue aids, and all around great animals. We would be thrilled to have the facility to train the "companion dogs" (and then the individual). Putting a good pair together could allow someone the independence they could not have otherwise. So needless to say, John's personal dream is to get that degree, and my personal dream would be to see him cuddling a newborn baby lab pup, and after training, handing that grown pup over to their new "boss". We really would not know what to do with such a large sum of money, only that we could help those individuals who need a "canine companion", and also provide any assistance needed to those who were there for us in times of need. This comment is continued on another post.
Comment 5. So my personal dream is to have the means to "pay it forward" as there is nothing like the feeling of helping someone who is in dire need, while you expect nothing in return. Giving is something that should come from the heart, so if you expect anything in return; believe me you will be disappointed. To sum it all up, I guess our most important reason for entering this contest is that all the material gifts, the house, the land, the car, and the money, would seem trivial if we could not make good use of everything. Giving is the best cure we could give ourselves to help put us back on track, and finally put the past, and all the bad memories, behind us for good. To do these simple things, and live a good life, is the best dream I could imagine.
Thank you for considering us, (and to whoever wins; as was mentioned earlier), please be sure to "pay it forward". You will sleep better at night and wake up happier every day! End of Rosebud’s comments !!
Ok so I don't know about all of you but for me the one other thing better than having a great looking house is a great smelling house. One fragrance unit I found I must share with EVERYONE. They don't use, heat, wax or a flame. I no longer worry about anything and my house smells great all the time. They use essential oils. Check it out on http://www.fragranceforhome.com it will add to any deocrations isntead of taking away from it. That's right they look like decorations. So Great!!
