Your Own Private Island

If you win HGTV Dream Home 2010, I think you may have to invite Super Fan over for dinner. Or she may just show up to help you chop veggies. Check out her latest video to find out why.

  2. My husband and I love to cook. This kitchen is perfect for entertaining. If I win, you not only are invited for dinner, you can tell me what you want us to cook for you. Italian? Mexican? etc………

  3. Consider yourself invited! I love to cook and mix up cocktails so this kitchen is definitely a dream. Risotto is not one of my specialties but it would be great to make our own version of a "mexican southwestern risotto". Yumm…the possibilities…

  4. I can so see myself in the kitchen creating a “CAL/TEX” low carb/low cal cookbook with my son. We really are good cooks and I would love to use you as a Guinea Pig for the recipes. In fact, perhaps you would be interested in creating this cookbook with us as an HGTV special on how to create healthy recipes from the region? We can use the contractors that will be building the other new homes in the community as the taste testers. A win-win for all!

  5. Just had to revisit this (and other) video(s) of this spectacular kitchen. My husband is the cook in the family and I love to bake, so this kitchen would surely have someone in it most always – and of course the kids – they like to eat non-stop : ) We would be in our glory having the free time and perfectly designed kitchen to prepare and relax in. Every feature – from the dual refreigerator/freezer, to the vegetable steamer, to the beautiful island and every utensil and piece of cooking equipment you could dream of – plus the pantry and butlers kitchen – wow, wow, wow. We love to entertain so you can bet that this home will be alive with great food and laughter if are the lucky winners. We love all the unfinished wood and rustic appeal around the home as well – it is truly one of a kind -kudos to all designers!

  7. I love to cook. I also love to bake. With all that space I could really fix a meal that you won't ever forget!!! Why stop with one meal. You could be our first guest in the Casita and I'll make you breakfast in bed!!!

  8. Yesterday was my oldest son's birthday who shares his birthday with both of his uncles! What a birthday bash we could have held. It is snowing here so it would have been nice to party outside. My youngest son's birthday is March 17th. What a St. Patti's day party we could hold for him in his (our) new home! What better present than a new bedroom :) When the ambush arrives the balloons are for him! He's my good luck charm!! LOL
