What a cozy place and wonderful idea. It is great that you decided to include something so special for the children, as they want to feel part of the big win as well. I have been thinking positive and keeping my fingers, arms and legs crossed that my name will be the one announced today. I can only imagine……WOW!
Well!, I as well hope to be the proud owner of the 2010 dream home! It is simply great! Un like what i here most women say about a kitchen they like for looks!, I will use that great kitchen. I am told by many how good of a cook i am and that i am! As you can see i am in love with the kitchen most. The grill is my husbands territory and the view my whole family would love. My daughter wants to play house in the play house, as it would be where all the toys would go so that inside would stay clutter free and trip free, that is no more tripping over toys. She will be so excited because we have lived in such cramped space it will be nice to have more room for friends to play.

Wow… this shit is so rigged. A random person won who just happens to be from New Orleans and has an inspirational story. If your going to pick the fing winner dont do an fing drawer or sweepstakes just pick someone you want to win and make it fair. Last time I watch this channel. Peace out HGTV keep making it UNREAL!
I'm sorry that you feel that way, but I have also noticed some of the the comments as well. Some of them are kind of rude. I also feel that most of the veteran bloggers stick together and do not make the new bloggers feel so welcome. That is just not right. No one here is more important then the other, but we do have to keep in mind that everyone is entitled to their own opinions and dreams and that no one is more entitled to more then the other. WHinFL, I haven't seen any of that! Where have you read these negative thoughts? Not saying I have read every single thing written I would be here all day but I haven't seen anything.Alls I see written are people being excited to win the home.
P.S. I should add that let's all just have fun with this and Thank you for bringing this up.

Oh, Jackie, I'm so sorry you felt unwelcome by the veteran bloggers. I have found just the opposite. I'm new as well, but I have felt nothing but welcome. Some bloggers, Lessie, H_S, Reneelovesgreen, DBCoop, adisneyfamily, LynnCoggin, MarieMiller, AliB, Wyo-girl, just to name a few (there are dozens more) have gone out of their way to comment to new blogs and welcome new bloggers. You know that takes much time to read all the comments and respond to them. That was my first glimmer that this was a warm, friendly place. Then to see how protective they (we) are of bloggers who are attacked….very rare.
If you have time, go back to some of the very first strands on this year's blog and see what I mean. Happy dreaming. Please come back. You will learn so very much. I have……and I'm an old broad.
Jackie, Thank you for your response. You are right also that everyone is entitled to there own opinions and dreams. I guess I was just holding my own opinion in too long and my flood gate burst today. Now that I released some of the pressure, my dam is being fixed! Good luck to you:)

I haven't been around pretty much all day…I quickly posted this morning and responded to one and then had to get off as both my girls and myself are sick as well as my husband returned home last night from being gone for the military…so, I don't know what was posted in the orginal comment. I want to thank Debbie for her kind words and I want to tell WH as well as Jackie that I am sorry if I have ever personally been the one to make you feel unwelcome. A lot of time, I don't have much time to spend on the blog but at the same time I don't want to leave posts unanswered…so, I quickly scan for things that I notice or I can answer quickly…sometimes my answers are a little short and to the point, but are not meant to be rude in any way. A lot of us do stand up for the people whom we have come to know through the blog as we have been around some of those people enough on the blog to generally read their intended tone…which isn't always meant bad.

I just want you to know that Ive never read anything rude from you. The comments I read were not straight directed toward me, I just hate to hear anyone being rude to anyone else- especially when this is such a great place for us to all come together and dream, veteran or newbie. My original intent for my comment was hopefully to make certain people stop and think about what they say. That did not seem to be happening so I deleted it not wanting to create any extra negativity. Anyway, I tried… Best of luck to you 
It's O.K. though. It's soooo easy to get caught up in the excitement of everything that some may forget that other people are really awesome people to talk to also. I appreciate reading all the bloggers comments and really value their opinions and dreams. Thank you to you all for each and every one of them. I really didn't mean to offend anyone, but we really have to remember that everyone is valuable as well as their thoughts and opinions and some times we forget that. When I replied to the comments made by WHinFL, I meant that there are a FEW veteran bloggers that only read a very select FEW blogs and only reply to them, but that may be that they are really good friends and that's all. That's really cool, but don't forget about the rest of us. You all seem like really great people. And I wish you all well. I am grateful that WHinFL had blogged about this subject. I think that it helped myself and others, to get this out in the open. So Thank you WHinFL. I hope you feel better now. I know that the comments here are not meant to be bad, but sometimes they sound bad. Opps! Sometimes we as humans do that bad choice of wording thing. I know that I do that as well sometimes. You have really made me feel welcome adisneyfamily and reneelovesgreen among others. Sorry to hear that you and your family are not feeling well. I hope your feeling better very soon. Thanks…I just know that I have been at both sides of the coin…meaning that while most bloggers find me cheerful and helpful, a couple have blogged that I have been rude even though that was not my intent and other bloggers defended me.
When we read comments from others, there is one thing missing — Inflection.
The writer may not have intended to 'say' what the reader infers. The other day I re-read one of my posts, and realized that it 'sounded' totally different than I had initially intended. I should have added 'hahaha' to the end for clarity.
There was one reply directy to me, however, that I considered to be 'destructive criticism.' At least those of us logged in through the IntenseDebate system; have the options of 'thumbs up/down', and 'Report.'
I think you have done something positive by bringing your concern(s) out. I, for one, will be more careful as a result of your comments.
