  7. Hi #HGTVLVR, thanks for your really nice reply. I can't wait either to find out the secret of the location. It will really be nice to know since so many of the clues can go in so many location directions. But I guess if they didn't this would be a very short challenge aye? I just missed being on when you were. I coudn't get on all day until now which was killing me all day! Do you hear that Mary? You are driving us crazy in the morning, in the afternoon, in the evening, and during sleeptime too! Even in the sunshine, the moonshine, and during the raindrops and snow plops (heaven forbid anymore, sorry Vermont for last weeks escapade). Yep! I have gone bonkers.

Cows love to eat clovers too. As a child….. many of us kids would pull apart red clovers and bite their inside ends. I don't remember if it was sweet or not.

  30. Mary says…”So today, I share a simple clue: a photo of a cow. Did you know that when European dairy cows were brought to America in 1611, they helped end severe starvation in the Jamestown Colony? “
Vermont’s state cattle is Randall Lineback Livestock. http://www.hobbyfarms.com/livestock-and-pets/Rand… In the Beginning During the early- to mid-1600s, the ancestors of today’s Randall Linebacks arrived on our Eastern coast aboard sailing ships from points throughout Europe.
They have mixed with other breeds.

  34. Here is a 'COW' connection to Washington, DC.

    (I never knew this before.)

    Presidential Holstein Cow

President William Howard Taft's cow, Pauline, poses in front of the Navy Building, which is known today as the Eisenhower Executive Office Building.Perhaps the most famous Holstein was Pauline Wayne who served from 1910 to 1913 as the official presidential pet to the 27th President of the United States, President William Howard Taft. Pauline Wayne lived and grazed on the White House lawn and provided milk for the first family. Pauline Wayne was the last presidential pet cow.

  40. Yes I did know about the cows bread with American Steers that helped a lot of people survive in that time. I also know that if we American's, (people who were born here in the USA) had kept that "Patriotic Spirit", and not sold out to China, and other countries, we might still be known as "THE!! SUPERPOWER", but now it looks like (According to Donald Trump), we will soon be second, only to China. That's a direct quote from Donald himself.
