Pouring the Foundation
Believe it or not, things are happening at the HGTV Dream Home 2011 construction site. Today, I’d like to share a slideshow just launched by our friends at HGTVPro.com. It’s interesting to note that an old ski lodge did exist on the property and, before its demo, the Dream Team removed vintage barn wood from the interior, as well as other fixtures, which were traded in at the local salvage warehouse for items that will be used in the home’s interior design. More details on that to come!

This is my kind of home! Can't wait!
I just had a funny thought.
That white house in the background…..I probably couldn't afford it, being in that location.
I am amazed a past Lodge was built upon the new sites soil for HGTV Dream Home 2011. My guess is; a lot of preparation went into this foundation for the new structure. And to have prior, salvaged materials from demolished past Lodge, will bring resurrected life once again to be cherished! I acknowledge much thought going into this wonderful home. You’re on my Facebook HGTV!!!! (Hope to win!)
tomorrow will be over 100 again. if i was to win the home in Vermont they might send me back to Texas when my hot flashes melt all the snow on the mountain. West Texas is a lot less humid normally than East Texas (Dallas area & down toward the coast). Since we had all that rain around July 4th, it has been a lot more humid. I have more trouble with humidity than heat. I can always get in a pool to cool off or go to the lake. Used to take my kids to soccer tournies in Midland when they were little. Have relatives in Odessa & Midland. No need to reply but you have a couple of us I know are down here in Tx praying for Robert. funfordot is from Tx & further up in the panhandle.
It is interesting site for HGTV dream home. The Dream home is very impressive and delightful i like it their interior and construction both are design good. The basic concept of these construction site is good to share with us.

I know everyone is busy these days. I really need help on this please if anyone can. I am taking care of my grandparents, Papaw is 86 and Meme is 85. Papaw is a Vet from World War 2, Meme is a retired teacher. Both have given over and over to others, schools, churches, nursing homes, family, friends, and strangers. Both are now in wheel chairs and bedridden. Im a single mom with boys trying to keep things going for them from finances to washing Memes hair, hold full time job for now, I have to go part time at work when Papaw comes home in November so I can take care of both of them. I’m rushing around trying to make everything work, but when Im alone on the way to work I tend to cry…we are in desperate need of help to widen door ways and find way to modify mini van for thier wheel chairs. I already have investigated and called..I have a old order for a patient lift in the works so we will have that when Papaw comes home…Im not super woman……can any one help me…point in direction?
