New Time-Lapse Pics

Hi all,

I just added new photos to the construction time-lapse slideshow, so please take some time today to check it out. Can you imagine what the home might look like once it’s completed? Here’s a little tidbit: HGTV Dream Home 2012 will be all about the views. Patios, balconies and outdoor spaces will capitalize on the home’s location.

And when you have a free moment, please visit our Urban Oasis blog and share your small-space decorating secrets.

  2. No its not the largest- Tyler TX was. It was, with the dock house, over 6500 SF of indoor living and about 3000 SF of outdoor space!

  4. Yes its the bridge county! Its my dream to have a home built with a view of the gorge. I thought the Fayettevile to Beckley corridor was the fastest growing area of the state. Fayetteville and Oak Hill are Fayette – Beckley is Raleigh Cty.

    I taught at WV Tech!

The current Omaha mayor is a Hurricane native.

    • You may be right that theFayetteville to Beckley corridor isthe fastest growing area now, but it used to be Putnam County. Yes, I knew Beckley was in Raleigh County. WV Tech is in Montgomery, right? It is now part of WVU. So, you are a college instructor or professor, how nice. Mylastsupervisor/office managerused to teach nursing at a college in Maryland.

    • No, I did not know the mayor of Omaha is from Hurricane, WV. Isn't that something. The only thing I could find on Google about Mr. Suttle is that he is an alumnus of WVU.Everything else was about his career inOmaha.

  6. Wow this home is going to be amazing! You can already tell from the framing and style of build that this home is going to have so much character. I absolutely love the idea of taking inspiration from old farmhouses! I come from a farming family and cannot believe how great this outdoor space is! It’s perfect for entertaining and outdoor fun. I can’t wait to see more!

  9. I drove by the house in Midway yesterday! I finally saw where it is :) It currently looks the same as the most recent time lapse picture. I didn't stop or go in but there were several vehicles at the house, they must be working hard on it. The lot looks so big and the neighbors are all far enough away they can't see into your windows! There are lots of mature trees around too! And it's so close to the river it's very exciting :) I can't wait to see how they finish the outside. I'm guessing some stone work and siding to match the rest of the town.
