Hi all,
I thought I’d pop in today to share an interesting detail about the HGTV Dream Home 2012 exterior. Each portion of the home will be identified by its own unique exterior cladding. And I have it on pretty good authority that the game room wing will be clad in crib framing. I can’t wait to see this treatment.
I hope you enjoy today’s photo, pulled from our construction site camera.

Hi, fans.
I know you’ve been dying to get your hands on the 2011 floor plans. That’s not going to happen this week, but what I can share is info directly from this year’s architect, Paul Robert Rousselle. During a recent chat I asked Paul about his design inspiration, and what unfolded was the most heartfelt story. Being a history buff, I have to admit that I myself had goose bumps as Paul shared the experience of sifting through old photos of Adirondack Great Camps, circa 1890s to 1920s, before sketching out ideas for house planner Jack Thomasson.
Take some time today to click through HGTVPro.com’s slideshow on Paul’s design process, then pop back here to share your thoughts.
