Here we are, at the end of the HGTV Green Home 2009 scavenger hunt. Think you know where the house is going to be located? We still may surprise you yet!
We’re getting closer and closer to revealing the location of the next HGTV Green Home. But what would you do if I told you it’s only four days away?
Hunters, here’s your final clue:
In the grand tradition of HGTV giveaways, the HGTV Green Home has become not just one of our favorite events, but one of the core events of our year. In other words, can you believe the answer’s been here all along?

Okay everyone….pay attention. You are reading the actual location of the 2009 Green Home. (you saw it here first)
Judging by the Scrabble board clue given earlier, and other clues, I say that the location is St. Petersburg, Florida, in particular just off of Park Street North, near the Jungle Prada/de Naveraez park. Also, he movie “Cocoon” was filmed in this neighborhood
I think there should no longer be any more HGTV dream homes in Florida. Aren’t you getting a little tired of that state? I think Nantucket, Block Island, or Lake Champlain would be great places for the next home.
I think it’s Amelia Island in Northern Florida.
Could it be in the florida Keys where the Dream Home was thuis year. That is a major event for HGTV.

No doubt… it’s Tradition (a Core Community) in Port. St. Lucie, Florida. Incidentally, it’s 1 hour and 53 minutes from my home in the Orlando area. What a beautiful choice! A former Northerner, my husband and I moved to Florida 10 years ago and are thrilled to be here. Hey, Winner, you will love it here too!

Hi Ramona Gray, I’m on disability too and would love to win the house too, I’m all for green and figure all homes should be built this way, it would help save so much energy! I’ve got a house now but the payments are tough by myself, disability isn’t for the faint of heart and would love so much to win some independence in my life. Good luck to you too Ramona!!

I can’t wait for the chance to enter for the 2009 Green House, This house will be close to my family. I live in Ocala,my mom,dad,sister,brother,2nephews,aunt and 3 cousins are in Ft.Myers. My other sister lives in Ft. Lauderdale and my other sister lives in Naples. Hope I win so I can be close to my family again.
