Hey HGTV Green Home fans, the big day is finally here! Without further ado, here’s Jack Thomasson to announce the location of HGTV Green Home 2009! (Is it just me, or is he looking particularly handsome on horseback?)

Hi, I’m a long time fan of hgtv and enter all of the dream homes and green home contest. These homes are amasing! I been entering the Dream Home in CA,I feel like it was design with me in mind, it has everything I love and some! I also love the Green Home in FL and can’t wait ’til it is done. I entered the contest to try and win this house for my fiance, who now has a brain injury from a near fatal car accident. Before the accident, he has always wanted a new home and I was thinking this home is so beautiful and he would love it. I am entering to try and win. The house is gorgeous and a good warm setting for him to live in is even better.
I’m so thrilled it’s going to be in Florida this time. I want to move there.When I win, I won’t have to go nuts and sell this house and buy the one that I want where I want. I’ll be home already!!! YEY! no more snow!!!

I already do what I can to help the environment, but with the green home I could even do better. That is if I could get my husband to move to Fl. I sure would like to win, but if I don’t I will be happy for who ever does. Rosemarie from Ga.
What a wonderful location this is! I have lived in Cape Coral, FL for over 30 years and love Florida. We have the best weather of anyplace in the world. The winner of this house will be the luckiest person ever.

Can we see the house? I live on the west coast and would love to take a drive and see the house in person.
Finally TV comes to Port St. Lucie! Too bad they only showed Tradition and missed the real PSL. I liked how they showed West Palm and Orlando but left out the rest of the Treasure Coast.
My son, Sean and I hope to win this beautiful house. It’s so perfect for my two children and my husband. I can picture of us living in this beautiful house. We even considered about relocating to Jupiter, FL to Port Saint Lucie, FL since last year. I am crossing my fingers for this miracle.

I am a unoin Superintendent/Carpenter and just completed my first green building for a major bank in Pa.I completely believe that this method of construction is the way of the future,although I could build this home with my own to hands,I could never afford to build this home. there are good for us to retired to live in and inviting our family and grandbabies for their vacation and can use 2 bedroom for guest. We are deaf that we see the HGTV’s beautiful view with nice masterbedroom and the chairs.Also, the kitchen for my view. I like to be with my husband to sit together. Drawing us name in the winner.

My god we need this house for my family there six of us living in a small 3 bd rm old house I sleep on the couch and my daughter has special needs I had to move in with family since I lost my job and then we lost our home. We had to leave everything behind only thing we have is what I could carry. As you can understand we don’t even have furniture pots or pans just clothes. we would be out on the streets if my family didn’t open their door for us everyday this place is get smaller and smaller and falling apart around us I repair what I can but for how long? I Pray,hope I win this house maybe by moving being in another state I can find another job and make a better life for my family.
