Blog Upgrades

Hello Dream Home fans!  It looks like some of you keen eyed readers have already discovered this, but I wanted to formally announce some of the upgrades we made around here recently.  This morning we added the Intense Debate application to all of our HGTV blogs.  There are a bunch of new features to the comments area that Intense Debate brings to the table.  You’ll notice that comments are now paginated as well as being threaded.  Hopefully this will alleviate some of the confusion we have where the page scrolls on for days and days.  You can also subscribe to posts by email, as well as comment by email.  It also adds the ability to report individual posts to us.

You’ll notice a few login options at the bottom of the page.  You can login with an Intense Debate account, created at http://intensedebate.com/signup, your Facebook account, a Twitter account, or OpenID.  We’ve also gone ahead and left the old method of posting, you just have to supply the same fields as always – Name, Email and an optional website.

Our hope is that all of these features will let all of your take your already passionate comments to the next level.

Please leave any questions, concerns or feedback below.

  1. CHAD P= This is Great! I LOVE IT! But need help, please!

    1. How do I post a picture of myself?

    2. When I sign on to (twitter) —was going to do it this weekend, maybe– how do I then combine it and connect it with the HGTV blog?

    Thanks- Diana

  2. Wow, HGTV can now compete on all levels! Thanks Chad P!

Can't wait to check out the Intense Debate section.

  5. Hmmmm…that worked….I will try to post on the 2010 Location Revealed again….that seems to be the only one I am having a problem with. Thanks so much!

  6. Hi Diana –
    1) Go to http://intensedebate.com/editprofile and you should see an option to upload an avatar on the right side of the screen.
    2) On that same page is an option to load in your Twitter account URL. You then have a couple of options below that for further Twitter integration.

cparizman on July 8, 2009 at 6:59 pm
  7. Chad,

Question: Your comment, "Our hope is that all of these features will let all of your take your already passionate comments to the next level," what do you mean? Will these comments be posted on sites other than HGTV? Just want to know what the "next level" means.

When I checked the intense debate site, the example shown did not reflect any HGTV connection. Want to know how this will be integrated into the HGTV format we know and understand.

  8. Chad,

I have another question. When replying to a blogger's post, why are you taken back to page 1, if the person you responded to is on page 3?

Lessie on July 8, 2009 at 7:22 pm
  9. Chad,

Will there be 24/7 comment approval by the site administrator? If so, what's the average post time?

Lessie on July 8, 2009 at 7:24 pm
  10. Nope, everything stays here on HGTV. Just meant that we're trying to give you the tools to better communicate with eachother. A lot of the threads around here get pretty long, and we think things the ability to reply to an individual comment, and not just the whole thread, will help foster more discussion.

IntenseDebate is a plugin for WordPress (the software that runs all our blogs) that is owned by Automattic (the makers of WordPress).

cparizman on July 8, 2009 at 7:28 pm
  11. Nope, looking into that now. Looks like the moderation queu is working overtime today. Should have that resolved soon.

cparizman on July 8, 2009 at 7:29 pm
  12. Hi Chad P – thanks for the shinny new toy. You guys are good…knowing now that the GH winner and DH & GH locations are both revealed – there was a lull…so you gave us something new to keep us busy, lest we bloggers get antsy.

    Questions:

    1. Will HGTV be able to "pre-approve" frequent bloggers to help out with the moderation cue. That way only new and/or guest bloggers would go into the cue?

    2. How about a "suggest removal" button – or will the thumbs down serve that purpose? or maybe the answer to 1 above will solve the need to have this functionality.

    Thanks again

  15. Hi Cathy Maineiac! That happened to me this morning but then it started to work. It will not be on comments previously posted before today but should show up on your new comments. If it is something more than that, I'm sure Chad will get back to you. Good to hear from you! Hope this helps!

  18. CHAD P=

THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH!!!! YOU ARE VERY NICE!!!!
I really mean that, because I know that HGTV is not like the "Computer Technicians at Best Buy or at a computer store", LOL

I'm sure that I'll figure out how to do it now. Thanks for the Direction. First, I have to download pictures onto my computer, and then I'll do it. Probably this weekend or next weekend.

HGTV is GREAT!!! and this New Blog is going to be so much Fun. HGTV Really did take it to the Next Level— (Live) Tweets– this is Awesome!

    THANKS

  19. Hi Glenn -Once you have an approved comment, it should let you through, just like the old system. Trying to make sure that we closely monitor the site for the next few days to reduce the approval time.

I just went and added the Report button on all of the comments. It got turned off somewhere along the way. The thumbs up/down should be used if you just don't like the comment. The report button should be used if you think a comment needs to be taken down.

cparizman on July 8, 2009 at 8:46 pm

  22. Hi LYNN — saw your blog to me on the other Blog—- THANKS for OFFERING your HELP! I appreciate it.

I'll try doing it this weekend—- (and hopefully catch up with you if I need any help—- Thanks! ) But Chad P. led me in the right direction— I think that I'll figure it out.— I'm sure I will.

But first—- I have to download pics from my camera into my computer—- and then try it. If I don't do it this weekend— definitely next weekend, but at some point— I'll try to catch up with you if I need any help.

    Thanks Again

  23. Wow, Lynn and Cathy… nice pics. You are both very pretty ladies. It's good to finally put a face to the blogs. Does anyone know when the televised walk through of the green home is? I know I should move on to the dream house but I'm still stuck on the green home. I love that house. Oh well, I'm better now. LOL

  25. Hi Guys!! Good to see everyone getting their pics up!! Cparizman, don't you mean that the thumbs up and down are there for you to choose if you like the comment or not… meaning hit a bloggers thumbs up for agreement and thumbs down if you do not agree…which will not happen here to much, as we all get along so well!! Just making sure that is cleared, as I have already put thumb ups on some of my buddies today!!! I have more research on it, but have filled out most of the bio, etc!! Have fun!! Love life by living green!!!

reneelovesgreen on July 9, 2009 at 4:23 am
  26. It is so much fun to put faces to everyone and looks like it will not take till 2011 to figure this new system out.. Chad are you saying we type too much?? I love everything people type-quotes, what they are feeling, etc etc that what makes the blog so much fun, we all have good days and bad and that is how we get to know each other and figure out clues, etc etc. it isn't like we are wasting paper on here..

Cindy on July 9, 2009 at 10:36 am
  27. I am not sure about the Thumbs Up, Thumbs Down icons..it reminds me of the Roman Times…Words from Roman History:

These men once were horn-blowers and attendants At every municipal arena, known as trumpeters in every village. Now they present their own spectacles, and, to win applause,
Kill whomever the mob gives the “thumbs up”.

  32. This is not fun hgtv. Shame on you. I would only tweet if I were a bird and face my book, every night as I do, reading in bed. Trying to get the younger guys and and gals?

Katydid on July 9, 2009 at 10:48 pm
  33. HGTV: I am very sorry for my last comment. Just so very frustrated with the new "setup" as Beverly called it. You know I have been a fan of yours for many years. I have admitted several times that I am old and I have low vision (that white on light blue is very hard to read). I can't seem to post on the latest blog. A password? I don't think I have ever had a password before, so don't know what to do. Must Katydid forever be gone from the blog? Please help me, HGTV. Thank you.

Katydid on July 9, 2009 at 11:02 pm
  34. Hi Katydid – A password isn't required for anything other than the Thumbs Up/Down function. You can continue to use the blog the same way, just putting in your name and email address. Let me know if you have any other problems.

cparizman on July 10, 2009 at 2:01 pm
  35. Dear cpanzman: If this works, I will eternally grateful. I just want to post about the location for the Green Home in Plymouth, MA. Here goes.

  36. It did work, you are "the man". I guess it was "much ado about nothing", except I couldn't figure it our without your help. Thank you so much.

  37. Hi Chad,

I really like this new system. Thanks for implementing it.

Lessie on July 11, 2009 at 12:51 am
  38. Chad,

I can't always follow the comments. If it's an original post, I see it, but I don't know when a response is a reply or to whom it was written. Is there a way to know for sure?

Lessie on July 11, 2009 at 5:06 pm
  39. Hi Lessie – Not sure if I understand your question but I'll give it a try:

When you are reading the posts in the blog, if there are comments to a person's post – there will be a green link that say's "replies #" (showing the number of replies to that post). You just click it and the replies will show.

I think part of the confusion is that sometimes when reading the blog – the replies are already showing for some posts and sometimes you have to click the green link to see the replies in other posts. (At least that's how it has been working for me).

One other thing that helped me figure if I was reading/responding to a reply is that there will be an arrow (bent at 90 degree angle) that shows to the left of the comment when you are reading or posting a reply to someone else's specific comment. No arrow when reading or posting a general comment.

OMG – I was trying to help – but I think I just confused myself! posts, replies, comments, arrows….LOL

GlennNYC on July 11, 2009 at 5:38 pm
  40. Hi GlennNYC,

Thanks for responding. You nailed my confusion. When I open the blog, I immediately scan the Newest Comments section at the right. That's the method I previously used to keep us with recent conversations.

When a reply appears, I don't know where to find it if it's not an original post. If I can't find it quickly, I stop searching and go to something new. Guess I don't have much patience.

Just checking to see if there's an easier method to read original posts and the replies to them quickly so I can keep up with conversations.

Lessie on July 11, 2009 at 7:02 pm
  41. I think GlennNYC may have something—do we need to post an APB (All Pilgrims Bulletin) for Renee loves Green?

DBCoop on July 11, 2009 at 7:13 pm
  42. Good afternoon Lessie! Thanks for all of your wonderful comments!

If you look at the top of the comments where it states 'Sort by: Date Rating Last Activity'…this is right below where it says you are logged in…above where the comments start…if you click on 'Last Activity', the newest comment will show first. If it is a 'Reply' to someones comment, then you may have to click on the 'Reply' button, but it does show you how old the comment is when you look at it.

Hmmmm…let me just disclose to you that I 'think' this is correct…..If I figure out anything differently, I'll let you know! ;)

    Living the Dream!

LynnCoggin on July 11, 2009 at 7:13 pm
  43. Lessie, I feel your pain! The "reply to a comment" issue is not so much confusing as it seems to break the reading flow, since under "Newest Comments", you can't tell whether it's an original comment or a reply to another comment, and it can be a little tricky to track down.

I will admit that I have decided to basically post my comments AND replys under the "Post a new comment" box rather than use the "reply" tab. It's just easier to keep the motion without too much commotion.

DBCoop on July 11, 2009 at 7:22 pm
  44. Oh, and I certainly must not forget to mention that it's good to see Marie Miller, and Katydid, posting like pros on the blogs now. We seem to be getting the hang of this newfangled blog format slowly but surely.

By the way, since writing about cupcakes and chocolate buffets this morning, I'm going to have a slice of chocolate cake and a stick of celery for lunch. What a combination, but at least the celery is "green".

DBCoop on July 11, 2009 at 7:28 pm
  45. Lessie, You are correct. It is a bit different to track the newest comments now. One thing that may help is that you can track certain bloggers by clicking on their picture or name and then there should be a green bar that says follow. Click it and then when you view your profile on Intense debate – it will list all the comments of people that you are following. You will also get an email notification with the comment in it from Intense debate..which might be overkill….

GlennNYC on July 11, 2009 at 7:41 pm
  46. Forgot to mention that you can only "follow" people who are registered with Intense Debate – won't work for guest posts.

Lastly, the green "follow" button only comes up when you click on a person's photo or "not photo" section. If you click on the name, it will take you to their profile.

GlennNYC on July 11, 2009 at 7:46 pm
  47. Is it just me? Am I losing my grip on reality? I just got an email notification from IntenseDebate that I'm being "followed", but every time I look over my shoulder, there's no one there!

DBCoop on July 11, 2009 at 8:00 pm
  48. Ha ha – DBCoop. I'm the follower. Sorry could not resist. All that talk about lobsters and then desserts/chocolate….

GlennNYC on July 11, 2009 at 8:11 pm
  49. Thanks Lynn,

From now on I'll scan the newest comments section just to get an idea of what's happening, then I'll use the Intense Debate sort to help me follow the latest activity.

Mmmm, seems like I need to play with this a little more. :)

Lessie on July 11, 2009 at 9:02 pm
  50. Thanks GlennNYC,

This is really helpful information! I definitely must use this feature.

BTW: Can't believe you visited the Green Home and didn't tell us!!! Do you have more pictures? You look so natural on the roof top deck! What did you enjoy most about the home?

You should have some really great questions for Kari.

Lessie on July 11, 2009 at 9:08 pm
  51. Gee GlennNYC,

I am so far behind. You sure you're not working with Chad on this?!

I haven't done a profile yet or anything else. Will work on it after I finish tagging the people I want to follow.

Thanks again for all your help!

Lessie on July 11, 2009 at 9:10 pm
  52. Coop, You are exactly right!!! The flow is now broken and it's kind of irritating to try and piece it together.

Don't be surprised if I follow the example you're setting. It works for me.

Lessie on July 11, 2009 at 9:14 pm
  53. GlennNYC and Coop,

Those last two posts are the best! Who would have thought that someone from the east coast could follow someone from the west coast with a simple click on the computer?!!

Modern technology. What will they think of next?

BTW Coop, you deserved it tor teasing us with those tasty delights!

Lessie on July 11, 2009 at 9:22 pm
  54. Okay, okay, GlennNYC—the truth is that ID seems to keep tabs on just about everything and everyone! The email notification from ID tells you when and by whom you are being "followed". No secrets here!

DBCoop on July 11, 2009 at 10:41 pm
  55. By the way, Lessie, I just hope that ID doesn't send out an email notification to everyone to let them know each time I serve myself another slice of chocolate cake….
But truth be told, I have my eyes and my taste buds set on a couple of those cupcakes from Cupcake Charlie's on the Plymouth waterfront! If I remember my history correctly, didn't the original Pilgrims serve cupcakes with sprinkles on them for dessert after the New World's first Thanksgiving dinner?

DBCoop on July 11, 2009 at 10:52 pm
  56. Hi Lessie – No, unfortunately, I haven't visited the GH 2009. I just downloaded the picture of the rooftop and superimposed myself on the picture. Didn't mean to mislead – I was just goofing around :)

GlennNYC on July 12, 2009 at 2:34 am
  57. DBCoop – I went out for wine and tapas this evening and felt all pious and such because I passed on dessert. Unfortunately, on the walk home, I passed by Magnolia's bakery in the Village- famous for their cupcakes here in NYC – and it was as if I was pulled in by a tractor beam – I could not control it. I and my expanding waistline blame you :) Those cupcakes, with all that rich butter cream frosting weigh about a pound each!

GlennNYC on July 12, 2009 at 2:43 am
  58. Thanks Chad!! I really like the system!! I think that it is a good upgrade!! I am liking the Facebook and Twitter option also!! Scripps Network is truly forward-thinking with technology and I'm lovin' it!! Thanks HGTV!!

  59. Yikes! Here is my true confession…I also went out to dinner last evening. We dined at Ruth's Chris Steak House and I couldn't help it but the creme brulee bit me! Ugh! Hitting the gym today folks!

Maybe I should invest in an inversion table or some gravity boots…although I would probably have to invert myself for quite a number of years to see a difference. ;)

    Living the Dream!

LynnCoggin on July 12, 2009 at 4:51 pm
  60. Love the "true confessions" thread we have going here.

We better be careful because Intense Debate may be able to monitor and track our caloric intake and other guilty pleasure indulgences and maintain a file for all to see on our ID profiles….

GlennNYC on July 12, 2009 at 6:18 pm
  61. I don't know about Intense Debate monitoring, but I am and you all are making me hungry! LOL :)

CathyMaineiac on July 12, 2009 at 7:06 pm
  62. Sorry, CathyMaineiac, but GlennNYC started it, or did I? In any event, the first one to Cupcake Charlie's in Plymouth must promise to send back a full report!

DBCoop on July 12, 2009 at 9:37 pm
  63. PS: I like having the "edit" feature, but I've also discovered that if you "edit" one of your previous posts, it will show up once again under "Newest Comments", regardless of how long ago it originally posted (though the time posted in the comment column will not change). How extraordinary!

DBCoop on July 12, 2009 at 9:45 pm
  64. Thanks for the info DBCoop – I didn't even realize that you could edit (and delete) your prior comments!

GlennNYC on July 12, 2009 at 9:58 pm
  65. You're welcome, GlennNYC…and one more point; you can go back and edit your previous posts of course, but I don't know if there is any time limit imposed on this feature. Also important to know, it seems that once a "reply" has been posted to a comment, regardless of how recent the comment, you cannot "edit" that comment. I only surmise this because I had two comments posted in a row, close together timewise, but the latter comment of the two had a reply, and the "edit" option did not appear. Do they send out a manual with this new format?

DBCoop on July 12, 2009 at 10:14 pm
  66. Wassup with this?! Was Saturday an eat out day for everyone? Good thing I had an invitation to my friend's for a crab feast even though I didn't stay long. Now I feel cheated because I didn't have dessert! Bummer! I'll definitely make it for it tomorrow.

DBCoop, would you please not mention Cupcake Charlie's anymore? Makes me want one now. Thank goodness I'm not near Plymouth.

GlennNYC, I didn't know you could delete a comment. Guess I need to explore all that ID offers.

Lessie on July 12, 2009 at 11:12 pm
  67. DBCoop,

Can't edit a comment if there's a reply? Good to know. I love this blogging community! So much good information shared.

  68. Renee loves and lives Green,

Are you ok? Even during your move, we heard from you. Can you make a quick post to let us know that all is well with you and your family?

Lessie on July 12, 2009 at 11:16 pm
  69. Not so far away for me Coop….what maybe 2 1/2 miles?

CathyMaineiac on July 12, 2009 at 11:57 pm
  70. Aha, GlennNYC, caught by the cruel old "cupcake conundrum"—cupcakes have a mysterious and unresistable attraction; humans are drawn to their caloric contributions like moths to a flame.
I also have to admit, I had dinner out and theatre with friends last evening, and willingly ate every bite of the carrot cake and butter cream frosting. In my defense, I had blackened Salmon as my entree (healthy enough), and dessert and wine was included with the meal. How could I say no?!
The challenge today will be to get out and do my exercise walk (it's SO hot out—valid excuse), or at least get on the treadmill. The catch is, it's Sunday, and I always ask myself "don't you deserve a day off, Coop?" Yeah right, if only the forces of gravity would take a day off, I wouldn't feel so compelled to continue the never-ending battle of keeping everything where it was 20 years ago! How I envy 'Show' and his 30" waistline.

DBCoop on July 12, 2009 at 9:32 pm
  71. Lessie, thanks for the concern!! I have been a little crazy going through a few minor medical items, resulting from a surgery that I had in April!! No Worries, all is good… Just need to work on my building up my immune system and my energy levels… A few more day and all will be good, so please bare with me..if I don't respond quickly, please do not take it personally… I am a very positive person who takes control of their well-being, so that is what I am doing… Love life by living green and by caring for friends!!!!

reneelovesgreen on July 13, 2009 at 4:01 am
  72. So good to hear from you, reneelovesgreen, and to know that you are well—and taking proper care of yourself.

As many of us are finding out right now, it's hard to weave and read your way through all of the blog comments because there are so many threads "in play"—which comes from the new format, and all of the info and questions tied into it. It's REALLY tough to keep up when you're "off blog duty" for a few days, but I think we'll be getting onto the same page before long, and moving sequentially from blog thread to thread as in the past (with minor detours along the way).

    Go Green—Live Lean!

DBCoop on July 13, 2009 at 6:59 am
  73. Chad,

As I read and follow what other bloggers have learned, I still have a disconnect. I can post a comment and see it appear on the blog. Yet when I refresh the page, that comment still doesn't appear under the Newest Comments section on the right even though it appears on the blog. What's happening? Why doesn't the comment post under Newest Comments like it did before switching to ID?

  74. Renee loves and lives Green,

Definitely not taking your lack of response personally. Just need to know when to pray for you, that's all. From now on I'll know to pray for you when not hearing from you in a while.

Take care of yourself and be patient. Healing does come but not always when we expect.

  75. Hi Chad! Just a heads up that the 'Newest Comments' section on this Dream Home blog does not seem to be updating itself when a new comment is posted. Not a big deal but thought I'd let you know.

Thanks for all of your help!

  76. Hahaha! Oh, LESSIE, you are one step ahead of me! Sorry, Chad, I didn't see that Lessie (and COOP) had already noted this in a comment to you!

Thanks again Chad and nice job bloggers at helping Chad get the kinks out!

  77. Lynn Coggin, here I was in the Green Home home blog calling all Pilgrims, and you were in the Dream Home blog burning up the keyboard and setting a blistering pace, and now you've popped into the GH blog.

Not easy to keep up with all the action going on all around me!

DBCoop on July 13, 2009 at 4:35 pm
  78. DBCoop – I'm off for the rest of today…no work…except for one radon inspection this morning. I've been finding my way through these blogs and I thought that there was no one posting because I kept refreshing and GlennNYC's comment was the only one showing….but here you are…and I, also, had a nice chat with ShowMe earlier! ;)

  83. this is far too confusing for me – Intense will not let me use my blog title – cannot figure what all these features are, nevermind how to use them – they may be wonderful to have, but, have kept me from being able to keep in touch – I am sure this was well-intended, and not meant to exclude the less computer literate – will try again when not so confused……………

  84. I can't get the new system to take my name, because of the space between letters – lots of new steps – feel like I have not qualified as blog savvy enough to use this

    steve e on July 15, 2009 at 2:15 pm
  85. Does it wirk this way?

BBSteve on July 15, 2009 at 2:18 pm
  86. Hi Steve! I know that I had to change the space between my name when I signed up. I was Lynn Coggin and now it is LynnCoggin, all one word. If you have an account already made up, you can go to Intense Debate, sign-in, and go to Edit Profile to add or make any changes.

In addition, once you do that, you have to log in here on the blogs at the top near just under where it says 'Comments'. After you do that, you, and the rest of us bloggers, will be able to see a photo (if you put one in your profile) and your profile comments (if you put that in your profile).

    Hope this helps a bit!

    Living the Dream!

LynnCoggin on July 15, 2009 at 2:42 pm
  87. Steve e, is your new name BBSteve? If you follow Lynn Coggin's suggestions, you should be up and running in no time! You don't have to get it all done in one day.

Lessie on July 15, 2009 at 5:40 pm
  88. BBSteve, welcome, Pilgrim. Glad you were able to get around the space issue in order to sign-in.

We definitely need your voice in the blog, as well as your eyes and ears—to keep us up to date on all things "Green" in Pinehills and Plymouth. Maybe even a report on Cupcake Charlie's at the waterfront that we've been blogging about recently!

DBCoop on July 16, 2009 at 12:22 am
  89. PS: BBSteve, you are now officially a +1 HGTV Pilgrim.

  90. Open letter to CHAD, the HGTV Community Guy:

Chad, things are eerily quiet on the Knoxville front these days. Not sure if that is a good sign or a bad one…. Any hints as to upcoming Scripps Networks Interactive (SNI) surprises coming our way soon?

DBCoop on July 16, 2009 at 12:40 am
  91. Hi Everyone. Just catching up on all the great questions & comments on here. I'll try and reply to as many as I can.

  92. The premiere of Design Star Season 4 is keeping everyone here busy these days. Hope to see a lot of Green/Dream bloggers over on the Design star boards.

cparizman on July 17, 2009 at 5:46 pm
  93. Thanks Lynn, I'll look into whats up over there.

cparizman on July 17, 2009 at 5:46 pm
  94. Steve – let me know if there is something I can help with. Are you trying to register a name with IntenseDebate?

cparizman on July 17, 2009 at 5:48 pm
  95. I know we are definitely all looking forward to Design Star Season 4, coming this Sunday, 19 July.

Little do we mere mortals realize that all the great folks at HGTV actually work on more than one project at a time! Always something "in the works", and all to keep us enlightened, entertained, and oh so thoroughly educated on all of the latest in design, detail, and domestic harmony.

BTW, it's only fair that cparizman has an ID "thumbs up" as well, just like the rest of the blogging community that he works so hard to support.

Power to the Pilgrims, wherever you may be!

DBCoop on July 17, 2009 at 6:21 pm
  96. Hi Chad,

You said that it wasn't necessary to log out after a session. Well I tried it and when I returned to the blogs, I received a message stating that my session had timed out. So now I'm back to logging out after each session.

Lessie on July 18, 2009 at 7:05 pm
  97. I am just amazed! The IntenseDebate format even tracks your individual average comment length! Mine is 460 characters, mostly all written by only one character.

    How divine!

DBCoop on July 19, 2009 at 12:11 am
  98. Coop, have you been exploring the ID site again? Unfortunately, I still haven't gotten around to it. So ID tracks individual average comment length. Wonder what else it does?

Either you, Marie Miller or Lynn Coggin will have the longest average comment length. Maybe GlennNYC will follow.

Lessie on July 19, 2009 at 1:06 am
  99. Chad, along with the Dream Home and Green Home blogs, does your bank of computers follow the Design Star blog, among others?

DBCoop on July 21, 2009 at 5:58 am
  100. I really wanted to check my posts and check for replies – I have no idea what the advantage of this Intense Debate is, how it works, how to retreive anything, cannot even find my post or get the latest blog entries on Green Home – I am certain there is an advantage to this, but, it has left me "Lost In Cyberspace" – this seems far too confusing to me, I see a lot of blog-savvy folks have warmed up to it, but I am beginning to quit reading the blog due to Intense Frustration – I need a human, cannot figure out from FAQ's, forums, or other instructions – all else, enjoy the blogging – will read-only, answer any question about Mass or Plymouth sent to me at harunksteve@aol.com

P.S. Big game this weekend: Chargers vs. Broncos!! Can you imagine the thrill of having the next Green Home build near San Diego? My vote is in!!! Just think of the 'tail-gate parties' happening at the stadium...why not throw that ole Tom Turkey on the 'Barbie' and have a different kind of Thanksgiving celebration? Fans, Fair Weather, Football and Feasting...doesn't get much better than that!! Pleeeeeeease cast your vote for Del Sur, San Diego, CA!!!!
